  6. Is todays game not on BCTV??

  9. Alan Dicks is 6th on win% with 36% (just behind LJ) in Tier 2
  10. There is always a lot of debate about whether LJ is a good manager for us or not. Here are some selected rankings for you. What stands out for me is he has some pretty decent overall stats given he has managed all his games in Tier 2 (most have managed a lot in lower tiers). Plus if you only take Tier 2, to be ranked 3rd or 4th against all our 30-odd managers at that level in all those stats is pretty impressive. He also has a very decent cup win% where I was surprised to see BOD above him (albeit from fewer games) Games Managed: 12th of 32 Alan Dicks (641) Bob Hewison (460) Fred Ford (361) Pat Beasley (355) Alex Raisbeck (336) Terry Cooper (324) Joe Jordan (268) Gary Johnson (239) Sam Hollis (229) Danny Wilson (225) Harry Thickett (222) Lee Johnson (155) Overall Win% (10 games min.): 11th of 31 Danny Wilson (48%) Steve Cotterill (46%) Pat Beasley (46%) John Ward (45%) Harry Thickett (45%) Terry Cooper (44%) Sam Hollis (43%) Alex Raisbeck (43%) Fawthrop/Rosenior/Burnside (42%) Joe Jordan (42%) Lee Johnson (41%) Gary Johnson (40%) Milestones He was the 12th of 32 perm managers to reach 150 games. At that point he was ranked 10/12 win% (39%). He was the 15th of 32 perm managers to reach 100 games. At that point he was ranked 7/15 win% (44%). League Tier 2 only - games managed: 4th of 31 Alan Dicks (373) Sam Hollis (197) Alex Raisbeck (152) Lee Johnson (137) Gary Johnson (132) League Tier 2 only - wins: 3rd of 31 Alan Dicks (135) Sam Hollis (90) Lee Johnson (52) League Tier 2 only - Win% (10 games min.): =3rd of 31 Harry Thickett (71%) Sam Hollis (46%) George Hedley (38%) Pat Beasley (38%) Lee Johnson (38%) Cup games only - Win% (perm managers only): 3rd of 32 Joe Palmer (67%) - 6 games Sean O'Driscoll (67%) - 6 games Lee Johnson (61%) - 18 games DISCLAIMER: Data may have errors, hope not!

Anyone else getting "currently not broadcasting" message?
  12. I was surprised how shaky he was under the high ball. The Forest striker seemed to give him lots of trouble in the air. We need our CBs to dominate in that area. Having said that. I wouldn't rush to judge any of our new signings until they've had at least 5 games under their belts.
  13. I have said it on a similar thread last year, but i think a big help would be to move the entire singing section behind the goal in the South Stand. They need to be in a bigger area to encourage others to sing. It becomes infectious when people all around you are singing. We need the SS to be our Kop. When they are isolated in the corner (or a small section of the Atyeo as was) then it all becomes too fragmented. Really hope this happens eventually would make a big difference.
  14. I see in the gate guide to todays game on the official site that under the heading 'Programmes' they say that they will 'work exclusively with the official app'. Does this mean that we can download the programme on the app rather than buying a physical copy? Would be great if so as I like to buy a programme, but on days like today (where I am off out in town straight after) I don't really want to have to carry one around all the pubs! Anyone know anything about this?
  15. Devereux

Its odd timing as they have let our subscriptions expire, then released some BCTV-only content, but we can't renew to view it! The videos are obviously VERY exclusive! (although I think you can see most on UTube channel.
  16. They are very different players, so I would hope not.
  17. Yes if we sign Weiman with Marriott, then I think we have done ok
  18. I have no problem if we sign Weiman......except if Derby replace him with Tammy (as reported). If that occurs then I'd be concerned; a) because if Tammy is available surely we should be in for him given his time here, and b) it would feel like we were part-funding our competition to upgrade to better quality than us. Tammy would have significantly more impact in the Champ than Weiman and thats a loss for us in terms of competing with Derby and others. Now if we sign Weiman and Marriott, perhaps thats a different matter. Still prefer Tammy mind!
  19. Surely this has to be the long term aim? We need to try and create our own Kop, even if it takes a couple of seasons to move people/organise. It would make a HUGE difference.
  20. If you do the survey include all ST Holders. I’d move to the south stand from the Lansdown if I could stand.
