  1. Less severe than lynching them….which a number of our fans also wanted!
  2. Another game with terrible stats for a home team and starting to play players out of position…..things LJ & DH we’re absolutely castrated for.
  3. I don’t get your point? You could have said the same thing 5 years ago. And 5 years before that….and before that. Are you just happy were a football team that just merely exists or at what point do you want some ambition?
  4. If you weren’t sure then, surely the chorus of boos at FT in the Birmingham game would stamp home fans aren’t happy with how the team have played in the opening 2 home games?
  5. I can’t say I’ve seen us booed off the pitch twice in our 2 opening homes games at any point before. Guess I’m not in the minority in regards to Pearson when it comes to fans at the gate as much as I am with people on this forum it seems. Interesting that…
  6. I was many cocktails deep on a cruise! My post still rings true this morning however.
  7. One swallow doesn’t make a summer, new manager bounce and all that jazz. Personally I personally feel we’ve regressed under Pearson in the last year.
  8. I genuinely appreciate the job he’s done. But can you honestly hand on heart say we’ve progressed on the pitch under Pearson?
  9. Thanks! I have a feeling most people read the first paragraph and treated my post as calling for a change after 3 games….which I can assure it wasn’t!
  10. If I knew what it was I wouldn’t be asking what it is. Pass it around the back & hoof it up front?
  11. Not writing it off but something feels unnervingly stagnant with the club at the moment.
  12. Excited with the prospect of Nige potentially leaving after this season? Controversial post I know. Now, don’t get me wrong, the job he has done to this point has been great. He has trimmed the wage bill and has had limited funds at his disposal since he’s arrived which could be detrimental to how his success will be perceived in years to come. Look at when Leicester won the premier league, a lot of credit came Niges way from the players who were involved who said if it wasn’t for Nige sorting issues behind the scenes they wouldn’t have had that success. Are we at a similar crossroads? The football since he’s taken over hasn’t been great. We had terrible form at home for a long time, struggled to take the game to the opposition and have treaded water in mid table for his reign. Has Nige sorted the club out off the pitch but has subsequently ran his course with the club? Is SL ready to take the plunge in another manager with fresh ideas who will bring, in my opinion, a much needed footballing identity to the club? Perhaps why we’re seeing the purse strings tightened after the sale of Scott & Semenyo? Entitely my opinion but I feel we need a new coach, not a manager, with a clear footballing identity and style of play to take us to the next level.
  13. If you honestly think this bloke was being serious you need to have a look at yourselves. He was quite clearly having a laugh.
  14. I take it we can expect an electric blue away kit judging it being on practically all of the training gear?
  15. Oh well puts this saga to bed I guess! Not sure what went on between starting this thread up until now. Guess time will tell.
  16. I’d say so yes. Also know they can get the player to push for a move more with it being a massive draw for AS.
  17. On paper it looks like one of the toughest championship lineups in a long time. If we have aspirations for a top 6 finish this year, it would be one hell of an achievement with the teams that are in it. I can only single out Rotherham and QPR as potentially weak teams. So, what’s everyone’s thoughts? I can’t look past Leicester for the title. a huge club with parachute payments and now a manager, albeit rookie, with top class coaching and play style. Dark horses, as much as it pains me to say, I’m going for Ipswich. I can see Millwall having a tough season after overachieving for the last 2 as well as Leeds who will have a tough time with losing a lot of high earners and a relegation hangover.
  18. There is nothing cool or intimidating about a ******* robin. I just wish the club would realise this.
  19. For me personally…it’s just a third strip? One that we might wear maybe once next season? For me it’s no different than a lifestyle/training top that if people want to wear fine but it’s not as if we have to see the players wear it week in week out. Id imagine the away kit with revert back to the robin badge and harmony will be restored.
  20. Yes I’d like a Harrington in Black please.
  21. Apologies I didn’t realise we had special treatment and could sign players outside of the transfer window. Asshat.
