  1. Watched Bath City yesterday. i left the game at half time. The ball spent most of the time 40 feet in the air. Awful long ball football from Bath and Torquay Can’t be good for a young players development surely???
  2. There’s 2 parts to the question if you read the bottom paragraph. Anyhow it’s all cool
  3. The bowling Club is still there. Bristol Bowling Club is behind the dolman/south stand.
  4. I concur. The value of having leaders in the dressing room is an important one.
  5. Not good enough. id rather we develop our own academy
  6. What is his league record now since starting at the club?
  7. That’s right. Too many snowflakes around these days. lets not cancel his right to react we’re all big boy and girls in us
  8. He’s showed some emotion which I like. hes a 27 year old lad. if you can’t take it, don’t give it
  9. Ah that’s okay Natch. My post was a little random with not much detail. Been battling with severe depression for the past 6 months so I’m a bit flakey at times. I should know better and stay logged out of this place. I deserved the flack Alfie is a great lad that grew up in long Ashton and it’s nice to see a local lad excelling in professional football. Have a good week all
  10. Grew up in Long Ashton but ended up on Southampton’s books
  11. Played over 130 times for Hull City now and their player of the year last season.
  12. Plenty of time for seed to germinate. Not much time for root development which leads to strong and healthy grass. It’s why I think the ground stuff deserve a pat on the back. if you’re on Twitter it’s worth following a couple of the ground staff. Some good stuff on there. Dan Sparks and Chris Fox Enjoy your weekend ?
  13. And the the time between the last concert and the first game of the season. The turnaround was a short window.
  14. 3 concerts on that pitch last summer. The last being on the 26th June. Plus lots of UWE graduations that were delayed because of covid. Stages constantly being erected and brought back down. Lots of footfall over it. Our first home game was 6th August. To renovate a pitch and get it back into good order in that short a time was a big feat. It wouldn’t have helped with the durability going forward. Im in the trade btw
  15. Because he’s been in and out of the Brighton side due to injury. Im more surprised Chris Smalling hasn’t been recalled.
  16. Go and watch some lower league or amateur football.
