  1. Or there’s so little money in the market a few bets here and there are still able to influence it Please no
  2. I've been wondering if its to stop verbal instructions from coaches carrying and being overheard
  3. 2 major tournaments two summers in a row, James Ward-Prowse with a chance to force his way in?
  4. Aaron Ramsey helped a little
  5. Brownhill and Eliasson have improved for starters, both relatively young when they joined. Hard to say how much Lloyd improved but he was given opportunity and took it, experience which would have helped him develop somewhat at least. Then Taylor Moore and Joe Morrell, yes they've both spent a lot of time out on loan but they've also spent time being coached by our staff, each spent at half a season to a season as part of 1st team squad. If you want to go down the route of saying 'they got better out on loan' then they've developed under the system the club have adopted, LJ took the blame for
  6. Depends how you’re defining recommended, did he recommend only one person who was the preferred candidate or did he recommend multiple people because they all reached a standard set for the board to then choose who to go for
  7. To answer the title, a lot of managers.....
  8. Rugby is so different though, if you're talking something similar in football then they were the equivalent of Newcastle in the championship then getting top 6 levels of investment upon promotion to the premier league.
  9. Another one with a masterclass vs Man Utd
  10. From a ffp perspective we were in a decent place as Webster’s transfer was in this years accounts along with Brownhill, so purse strings may not be loose but I don’t think there’ll be be nothing to spend. Could be there’s a little plus whatever raised by selling players.
  11. Really hope you mean someone with a similar style to, because I’m pretty sure ralf is off to/has joined ac Milan on 94,000 a week
  12. Was close to this season
  13. Tomlin claimed he had struggled with his mental health for a while, once he overcame he he got a lot fitter and lost a fair bit of weight, no doubt helping his performance football wise
  14. Not by the looks of Sheffield Utd game, Mousset goal especially
  15. Let him bring Ben Pearson too and we’ll take ‘em
  16. Can we get him doing Villa and Leeds games exclusively
  17. He's a decent standard prem player, but that's what I mean by kicking on to the next level, at present I don't think he'll be an England regular, will probably make squads consistently. For everyone saying he'll replace David Silva, I think he'll replace Sane out wide and get 30+ league appearances next season. He's ready for it.
  18. Any lower end championship club simply wants to move away from the drop zone, the financial difference between divisions is too much and you don't get parachute payments like dropping from the prem. LJ having done so with us will appeal to clubs who could then figure moving onto someone else once they're in our sort of position now.
