  1. Hope so, don't want "fans" like that supporting mine or any other clubs.
  2. Could see him playing in a few roles for City. How exciting are these prospective lineups?
  3. Janneh could be the player Tins mentioned as having an exciting loan lined up for, another exciting young goalscorer in our ranks!
  4. I thought the same but in the article on the OS LJ says “We are excited about the impact Antoine can have on the first team and our success next season.” Seems weird to have that comment if they've lined up a loan already.
  5. Great gig, and was very impressed with the setup down at AG last night. Queues for drinks were very quick, and the sound quality was second to none.
  6. I'm excited to see this bad boy down the Gate in a couple of weeks!
  7. I got married on FA Cup Final day (not this year), the only football fans there were City fans so I was pretty confident booking the date that we wouldn't have been in the final (obviously I'd have re-arranged things if the miraculous had happened!). If you have a bunch of Liverpool fans coming though I don't know why you'd book it on a cup final day, they made it to the CL final last season so it wasn't impossible the conceive it would happen again. Certainly more likely than us being in the FA Cup Final!
  8. My main issue with Maynard was the fact that he was stringing the club along for the first half of the season claiming he wanted to sign a new contract with us, and then waited until January to finally admit he wanted to leave and put in a transfer request, meaning we had to get what we could for him at that point. It's much easier to maximise a fee for a player in the summer window, as with Flint, Reid and Bryan this season, than waiting until the last transfer window until their contract was up, forcing the club's hand into taking whatever money they could get for them at that point. We stuck by him through a season of serious injury and we were "rewarded" with disloyalty and a fee around £500K less than we originally paid for him.
  9. Don't think it's up to date, he's played 117 times for us: https://www.transfermarkt.com/josh-brownhill/leistungsdatenverein/spieler/293569
  10. Definitely between Brownhill, Kalas and Webster at the moment but Pato deserves a mention for his recent form. Think Palmer's signing has given him the competition he needed to up his game and he's been really influential in our recent winning run.
  11. Weird that this has been rescheduled when the Boro away game hasn't yet.
  12. Love reading threads like this. Game was way before my time (I was -2!) but it shows how important a match it was in our history when OTIB has a unanimously positive thread about anything! Despite not being alive for the dark 80's period I know as well as any City fan how important TC was in the history of our club and honestly hope that the club makes the right decision and names the South Stand after him while he's still around to receive the honour.
