    Arena

I don't think the Flyers are actually in a bad place financially. There are a lot of benefits to them being under Bristol Sport that other sides in the league don't have and think they're trying to ensure they have a structure going on that makes things self-sufficient. There have been teams fold for mismanaging their spending. As @Davefevs has mentioned, it does sell out but it sells out a low capacity so they need the arena to have any possibility of growth, profit or improving the long-term on-court product. The games toward the end of the season were selling out two months in advance so there is demand, there's just nowhere to put people. It's the only venue available so the club are limited by venue rather than lack of interest. There aren't many opportunities for profit in basketball in this country right now but there's hope of league growth, future tv interest and obviously bigger sponsors along the way. As with any sport, basketball relies on the same things and it's still got a way to go. I sometimes have a +1 available so drop me a message if you want to test it out one night.
  2. Could've edited the title while you were at it ?
  3. Where's the squad been announced? Can't find it anywhere. Is this not above any level Alex Scott has played for England?
  4. "As good as we think"? Wait... People think our recruitment has been good?
  5. Christ. That image looks like it's taken from a cheap Christmas card.
  6. Guess you didn't take note of the Man City game last season?...
  7. I don't care for international football. I like an underdog. I don't wanna hear from morons about how England women are better than England men for the next four years.

    Downsy !!!

Pointless shite, that. Can see them holding a tablet with the completed board for the kid to read the right answers off of. if I had a kid I'd tell them to get it wrong on purpose so Downsy gets lost at what to do. In exchange, I'd buy them a bigger prize than the one the club are offering.
  9. Problem is, you can talk about the problems, this that and everything else you've got to deal with but the average consumer doesn't care. They want value for money and a solid product. Most feedback here compares it to non-league so you can debate it with facts on the problems you have for as long as you like but none of that matters. You've created a product that caters to, as you've stated yourself, the middle-aged, and producing something that seemingly only really caters to that age group is a dying product before you've even began. You talked it up as being a top notch production with all this experience you all have BUT... from what I can tell you're all looking at it with rose-tinted glasses because you're creating a product for yourself, not for a wider audience who have different expectations. How many people with a genuine voice on your production are young enough that they don't ever remember AG without the Atyeo stand? If you only get old men involved in producing a product, you only get old men buying it. Sorry if it seems harsh but you seem to be ignoring a lot of the feedback here and standing against rather than listening to it and it feels like that's just because you're creating something for yourself so you can keep your programme collection going. And stop comparing it to the price of a cider. When I'm thirsty or want to get drunk, I don't think, "Oooh I'd love to read a programme right about now". Take the feedback people have given you and make a better product. These people are your consumers and you're already losing them.
  10. Some changes I believe are in place... O'Leary #1 McCrorie #2 Pring #3 Knight #12 Dickie #16 Roberts #24 Everything lower than 21 is the same though otherwise. Believe Harry Leeson may be taking Kalas' #22 and Raphael Araoye will take #27. If I were betting I'd probably hand Taylor-Clarke #23 too and believe one of Knight-Lebel or Callum Wood will take #25. Maybe Meerholz at #31... but we're getting into the numbers nobody cares about at this point.
  11. Does Cidereds have a crossword cus I bet this will and do love a good crossword.
  12. And that's why I think it will fail. Nobody? Most people don't buy a programme as is evident from the official product no longer existing.
  13. Good luck with it. I do though feel this is a failing venture. An official programme was failing for £3.50 an issue and they likely had a better printing deal and internal advertisements than this so how will an unofficial £4 product be a success?
  14. No he's not Tony Yeboah's kid. Tony's kids are called Jayden and Jordan and are on the books at Fulham (as per a year ago at least).
  15. Programmes are useless in modern day. All thebinformation in them is known waybbeforehand because we have internet now. There is no new information and having a memento of EVERY game seems a bit excessive. The cost to produce, design and print just because "it's nice to have" is pointless and a waste of time, effort and money. Only way I see programmes as being back is if the club make them smaller, more ad-filled and MUCH cheaper. They need to be on thinner, less high quality paper like a comic book or an old TV guide magazine. Make them so that they're disposable, people don't want to pay £3.50 for information they already know and then throw that away. If they were £1.50 and a cheap thing you can choose to roll up and shove in your back pocket, people won't care so much about paying it. Can still look after it and save it if you want but cost savings are the only way it ever comea back to life and trying to produce a premium product isn't the way. The world is going paperless.
  16. Are there any birds eye view plans? Always interesting to see where one stadium is and where the new one would be. I'll fill it in anyway but nice to see that kinda stuff and stadium size, anything like that.
  17. I tend to skip Sundays a lot as they're often early kick offs and I just can't be bothered to get up.
  18. You try being on the stage he is and not thinking of yourself a little bit more than all the people out there that are just trying to get a piece of your fame for their own selfish reasons. Does plenty for charitable causes too but people don't care about that. Not as good a story to moan about.
  19. These are the best ones BY FAR. The text doesn't curve correctly on the third one but otherwise these are definitely solid.
