  1. Cheers fot that, I'll let my old man know as he's a massive Lindisfarne fan. If I had a pound for every time I heard Dingly Dell as a kid...!!!
  2. Shades of 82 tonight. Young lads playing their hearts out. Roared on by the crowd. Loved it. More of the same please Nige.
  3. Williams has plenty of energy (when fully fit..!) I'd like to see that 3 with Semenyo, Weimann, AN Other in front of them.
  4. I'll be interested to see a midfield of Williams, James and King at some point. Can't see too many teams taking liberties with those 3.
  5. I’m going all in without reading any responses. 1- who would you appoint if we sacked Pearson..? 2- do you trust Stephen Lansdown to make the correct appointment..? I’m all ears.
  6. The appointment of Holden, nice bloke that he was, pretty much finished me where it comes to SL's ownership. For all the talk of getting to the Prem when LJ was sacked, it showed me 1 of 2 things. All the talk is just that, talk. Or he has clearly not learnt from the internal appointments of Tinnion and Millen. I can't think of a worse appointment for a club with "Premier League ambitions" than a man taking on his first role.
  7. Good story about one of England's finest managers https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-nottinghamshire-59207830
  8. Yeah I’m ‘selling poppies from a tray’
  9. Engvall? You do the successes, I'll do the failures. Bet you run out of names before me...!!
  10. https://www.bcfc.co.uk/news/city-will-remember-those-who-defended-our-freedoms-on-sunday/ Bristol City and Blackburn Rovers will observe a minute's silence ahead of their fixture this weekend on Remembrance Sunday. Both sides will remember those who defended our freedoms prior to kick-off at Ashton Gate as well as Royal British Legion volunteers being at the fixture selling Poppies and collecting donations (Sunday, 3pm). The charity provides lifelong support for the Armed Forces community – serving men and women, veterans, and their families. It also campaigns to improve their lives, organise the Poppy Appeal and remember all those who have fallen. Volunteers will be based throughout the concourse from 1:30 pm ahead of kick-off to raise funds. They will be accepting cash and card payments. So, all donations – no matter how big or small – will make a substantial difference.
  11. In light of the sad news of the passing of Graeme Edge...
  12. He's done his ACL as well. Go on Moysie, chuck us a few quid for old times sake...

    Press

We haven't got enough players with the spuds to carry them out.
  14. An even bigger achievement is we have **** all to show for it.
  15. That's what we saw in the first couple of months of the season. Even in some of our defeats you could see what we were trying to do. I'm baffled by the last months performances though I'm not in the NP out camp yet, but we have to get back to keeping a shape and being more resilient tout suite.
  16. It's not exclusively our ground anymore, and rumour has it the south stand is to be named after a rugby player.
  17. He's already decided. That's why NP has to slash the wage bill and has little to no transfer kitty. The oily bloke in Suffolk pissed it all up the wall.
  18. A quick look through @Nogbad the Bad's thread from preseason, shows that very few (albeit a small sample size) expected us to finish top half. Yet here we are with people losing their shit. I get the last few performances have been (very?) disappointing but there is a major job on here. The owner has no idea what to do, the chairman is a waste of space, so thet leaves Nige and Richard Gould to steer us in the right direction. Let them get on with it I say. BTW, where is Noggers, not like him to have a month off...? Hope he's well.
  19. ******* hell..Dramatic much...!! No championship football?? We acheived that under Joe Jordan long before SL came along. Had the board at the time held onto him, we might well be playing top flight football in a brand new stadium.... Who knows...?
  20. I'd bet Tanner and Atkinson are on a hell of a lot less then the likes of Adelakun,Walsh and Watkins. And they've probably played more games already.
  21. Love Moysie. Part of my favourite ever city team, always shows up for our reunions. The one bloke we will always regret he never managed our club (I think that ship has sailed?)
