  1. If we somehow fail to win today at least the abuse on here will be limited by the following England game where it will get even more noisy if we win - or lose ?.
  2. What is it with the obligatory shot of FIFA President Gianni Infantino sat in the stands as the match starts? Is it written into his contract that the TV companies must show him at least once during each game? He may well be President but it seems to be a bit a rse licking to me.
  3. Why was the Polish coach, or whoever he was, allowed to go around and talk to the goalie? Surely the coaches etc shouldn’t be out of the technical area?
  4. I do! Mills doing the little dance near the corner flag. Bit sad you feel the need to respond to the poster in that manner, you wouldn’t do it to other posters.. ?.
  5. It is a good idea and hopefully a step in the right direction to minimise time wasting and only need time added for genuine injuries etc. If lots of time is added on for our home games it might cause a problem for people in time restricted car parking areas which people will need to allow for!
  6. Dreaming of 1-0 win, Vyner to score…From zero to hero! In reality I’d be pleased with a draw.
  7. This is about it in a nutshell. Hopefully we won’t see Martin start again except in an emergency. Last night we made 8 changes to the starting line up which tells me the club doesn’t want the distraction of any cup games to impede our fight for survival to avoid relegation, which is annoying but understandable especially if senior players got injured. If a entire U21 team was put out it probably would have played better as a unit but a lot of fans would not have turned up or demanded to pay U21 prices and the club didn’t want that either?
  8. He said he’d played for us, Reading and Wolves.
  9. That ‘ref’ got worse as the game progressed. Sheffield Utd players realised he didn’t have a grip on the game and just kept pushing it until it inevitably got out of control. The referees assessor at the match should have an input and explain why it was allowed to deteriorate before any ‘evidence’ against the teams is presented.
  10. Exactly this. The OP has been put on the naughty step and he’s still so angry he has to try and find like minded people on here. We all let a few swear words out at football but this must have been excessive and - this is the real issue, I’m guessing IF the OP was spoken to directly by the person who complained he would have been right in their face with even more bad language. Were that to happen where would the disabled person go to get away from this selfish uncaring plonker? People who aren’t disabled can move seats reasonably easy but the people in that section have to put up with it and in the end will probably stop going to matches because of it.
  11. Excellent article which could do with being ‘pinned’ on this Forum! A really good insight into his style of management and acknowledgement that different parts of the club are now - finally, all aligned. It won’t happen fast enough for some supporters (Players of games such as Football Manager), but hopefully the majority have a little more patience until we really start driving forward.
  12. Wimbledon Magistrates' Court was told Georgia had phoned police on June 2 last year telling them: "My husband has just hit me in the house”. Good job her never hit her in her Front Garden - she would have really known about that!
  13. Yes it’s available to watch on Robins TV for a tenner, don’t forget to cancel your flights to Kazakhstan or wherever you usually watch it…..
  14. Sadly I didn’t enjoy it as much as I thought I would have done. Lots of talk about problems finding a venue etc and lots of repeated shots of the graffiti covered corner of Hebron Rd(?) but I thought it was lacking depth for a programme that was an hour long? The info on Fry’s and Wills was good and no doubt great for local residents to have that done but I’m not sure I’ll watch the next episode.
  15. The meltdown will probably be big enough to keep us warm all winter..
  16. It is annoying but do feel free to stand for Councillor at the next election and make parking free for all City fans.
  17. Why bring in someone else - who also won’t have money to spend - in fact, even less as we’ll have to pay off Pearson and no doubt half of the back room staff who will also be replaced by the contacts of the new manager / coach? It’s not pretty and it’s never going to be easy but a revolving door of managers is not the answer, Pearson is the best we expect to get at this moment in time
  18. Last week I bought one of those ‘invisible’ hearing aids, tiny little thing but amazing, heard things I hadn’t heard for years. The problem is I’ve put it down somewhere and can I find it….?
  19. She may well have been a dedicated Vegan but she still like a sausage in cider..
  20. My wife has just told me she has broken her sat nav and wants £150 for a new one. ......Well she can just get lost !!!
  21. Another thing many many eating places could do which would make me feel more welcome is, after taking full plates of food to a table - don’t just walk back empty handed! Invariably there are usually empty glasses if not plates on other tables that need collecting and returning back for washing. Why walk back empty handed, it needs to be collected sometime?
  22. ‘Try something different’ = We used to when Mr Tombola was in town..
  23. Official club T shirts?....available from a Peacocks near you! No doubt a few of them will be putting them on their Xmas list to prove their loyalty
