Unfortunately technology has not advanced enough to let dead people vote, even on line. I can hardly cope with the technology to do what I want to do let alone the really now very elderly or sick who would have seen Gibson play in the flesh - not just cold stats.

Probably because most people who actually watched Gibson are either not around or are at an age they don’t participate in phone ins. All 3 were great keepers at different times in different eras so it’s difficult to compare like with like unless you have time to check how average number of goals they conceded during their time with us, and frankly I’ve got better things to do right now. COYR
  3. There’s now a pinned ‘injured list’’ thread at the top of the page specifically for....information on injuries and guesstimated return dates.
  4. As the OP - this is exactly what I was trying to suggest. Thanks
  5. Maybe the thread would have been more appropriate if i had named it ‘Long term injuries’? Giving a tactical advantage to another team is obviously not recommended but I’m talking ‘public’ - out there in media land known injuries, just so we all know where we stand with our obviously injured players not someone who has pulled a hamstring etc.
  6. Mods With an ongoing injury list which now seems to get bigger each season would it be possible to have a pinned topic to clearly identify all our injuries and the anticipated return to fitness of a player? Some injuries will have to kept a bit off radar to avoid giving too much information away to opponents but for more obvious injuries such as Frankie or Tomas it would be useful to know when we can expect to see players returning to training. Getting back to match fitness is of course another matter...
  7. Star Wars? No Bond film? No Game of Thrones? No (been to Dubrovnik twice though and apparently walked through many of the locations episodes were filmed at). Friends? No -shudder at just hearing that inane tune let alone the canned ‘laughter’. Big Bother? No I’m a ‘celebrity’ get me out of here? No Inside many pubs interacting with real people? YES!

I thought we were playing Wednesday Saturday ?
  9. Isn’t there a Thomas Ware scrapyard on Feeder Rd, maybe a connection?
  10. Parking will become irrelevant soon when we can all fly in by drone? Shame the club hasn’t got space for a multi storey car park which could also be used for an alternative park n ride in the week.
  11. Waste of time going, it was a complete non-starter.
  12. So will tonight’s game as well as tomorrow’s game also be on the proverbial red button....topic drift.....??
  13. Surely after tonight’s game the team will be too knackered to put up any sort of performance tomorrow night as well? I’m going sell my ticket for the Friday night game, we’re bound to lose......
  14. As it’s ‘just’ a facial injury hopefully Tomas should be able to maintain his general fitness levels so he’ll be ready to start as soon as the jaw heals?
  15. He didn’t set the wrong formation to start with, it was always his intent to let them come onto us, absorb the pressure until they ran out of ideas and steam, then put Plan B into action. I texted a friend at half time predicting the way it was going to evolve. Just because we were at home doesn’t mean we have to go gung ho every game, it’s not only respect for the opposition it’s out foxing them and ultimately winning the game that counts.
  16. Exactly, it was all part of the tactics as part of the plan for the entire game.
  17. I could se it on my pants, talk about cock -Robin - Batman.
  18. The word on my street is ”HALT major road ahead”
  19. The stadium costs will have increased because of the additional sports being played there. In reality, with such a huge infrastructure the more it’s used - not just for sport but conferences etc it should help the overhead costs. Never the less this thread is non football so please move it to the appropriate place.
  20. There’s a search engine called Google - the answer to the meaning of life plus other questions such as yours can be found in there. Or maybe I should have searched for sarcasm in case your wit is beyond my own
  21. I think you should do an audit to see which emojis are least used and then replace them with new ones? Im sure there’s potential for a couple more, like toys, prams and handbags.
  22. If the club was transparent and said they’d be happy with mid table lots of short sighted people on here would accuse them of lacking ambition. For some, whatever the club do is not good enough, maybe they haven’t yet lived long enough to understand life is not that simple and sometimes playing the long game (not on the pitch) may get you there eventually albeit having to spend some considerable time building a solid foundation.
