  1. Only for some games, far better value to pay £15 for a month anyway
  2. Spot on, LJ is a dick if he goes back to 5-3-2, or tries to shoehorn COD or Wright back in the starting 11.
  3. Yes spot on... add in Wright always committing unnecessary silly fouls that either waste our FKs into opposition box, or gift the opposition free crossing/shooting chances around our box, and it's clear Kalas & Williams should be first choice CB pairing with Moore 1st reserve.
  4. No he isn't, he gives the ball away too cheaply at times and that can lead to goals when he is in defensive CM, e.g. WBA first goal. Nagy & Massengo should be automatic picks in CM, with Josh on RHS and Korey on the bench available to replace anybody tiring. No way should Korey be starting over any of those 3.
  5. Nagy & Massengo together would give us a really solid CM, allowing Brownhill to get more attack play and even allowing us to revert to a back 4 - but doubt LJ will abandon 5-3-2 or pick Massengo to start alongside Nagy sadly...
  6. Maybe, LJ clearly sees something in him but for me we have much better options.
  7. Seriously, thought he was his usual anonymous self in that ACM role today. Yes one really good run just before HT, er… that's it. For me, we should have lowered our asking price and got rid in the summer.
  8. Would rather see him play alongside Massengo and allow Brownhill more attack play.
  9. Thought LJ should have switched Eliasson to lhs, after they started doubling up on him on rhs.
  10. Bentley - 7 - Another solid performance, couple of decent (if expected) saves. Pedro - 6 - Defended OK and did much better getting forward, but his crosses at times were poor, need Hunt back in the side for me. Baker - 6 - Largely steady, with some sloppy passes. Wright - 6 - Largely steady, with a few trademark silly fouls esp. when he went up into their box. Williams - 8 - Pick of the 3 CBs, quality defending. Rowe - 5 - Didn't have much to do defensively and was poor going forward. Nagy - 7 - Saw a lot of the ball and overall neat and tidy with it, faded a bit in last 20 mins. Brownhill - 6 - Not one of his best, busy but a few overhit passes. COD - 4 - One good run just before HT than won a corner, aside from that offered very little. Fammy - 7 - Cleared one of the line, won a lot of defensive balls and did much better holding the ball up. Wiemann - 6 - Usual endless running, but skied one good chance over and even in the passage of play where we hit the post he should have done better. SUBS: Eliasson - 7 - Series of quality crosses as per usual, we really need to pick a formation to accommodate him starting in home games at least. Palmer - 5 - Disappointing, hit a couple of poor cross field passes that were cut out and failed to control an Eliasson cross when ball at his feet inside the box. Rodri - 4 - Looked way off the pace, silly fouls and hopeless attempt near the death to hit over from 8 yards out.
  11. Sounds like out and out fraud to me!

Not even on the bench for Ireland tonight, injured?
  13. Totally agree, would much rather see Nagy & Massengo anchoring centre midfield, allowing Brownhill to play further forward. Palmer, for me, is also a much better option that COD in an ACM role.
  14. Well said, thought he showed up really well, albeit standard of opposition was poor. Also, when he has been a summariser on radio or BCTV, he has always sounded an intelligent player reading the game well too. As others have said IF Brownhill or Massengo leave for big bucks, then Joe has to be worth a go as a ready made replacement.
  15. Forest, followed by WBA, should provide a real test of our play-off contender credentials, especially as we should hopefully only have Dasilva left to come back into the side (given Afobe out for the season, or almost all of it). Fancy we will need at least 3 pts from those 2 matches to stay in top six after them.
  16. Yep Walsh for £18k proved to be an absolute steal...don't think any of the others mentioned can compare.
  17. Delighted my fears were not realised, so were are all happy now
  18. Warnock always seems to get the better of LJ, so unless LJ can get the team selection/tactics right against Colin for once, I fear a comfortable Cardiff win.
  19. Spot on, that and the actual performances (and some of LJ's decisions) were p1ss poor for the most part.
  20. Forgot about him, surely he must qualify? and what be a lot more useful having a real midfield player to come on and protect the back line.
  21. So, we have to have at least one club developed player in our match day squad. To qualify as club developed, a player must have been registered to the club for at least a year before his under 19s season ends. Currently Semenyo's inclusion fulfils that, but I'm fed-up with seeing him apparently making no effort at all when on the pitch, so to those that watch our youngsters, surely there must be someone else who could be useful to have on the bench?
  22. absolutely, Moore was doing fine so unless he has picked up a knock that was bizarre to bring on Baker. Watkins, I can understand 'cos he had run himself out, but once again Semenyo comes up and offers nothing at all.
  23. Sadly true, but we should never be leaving ourselves wide open in injury time, a total f'ing waste of 2 points that.
