  1. good save Max, after Korey gets caught in possession.
  2. Reading's first attack and they win a corner
  3. BCTV working, City started brightly
  4. Team will be interesting to see, didn't really work having both Taylor and Wiemann on from the start against Villa. Like to see Weimann start up front central with Fammy, m/f of Pack, Brownhill, Eliasson and either Korey (if fit), Kelly or Palmer - definitely not Pato! For once at home against a lower half team we need to be at them from the off and move the ball quickly. I know the term is overused but this really is MUST WIN.
  5. Although it's still in our own hands, right now I'm thinking we may just miss out to M'Boro. Their win over in-form Hull was a big result Saturday that I didn't expect them to get. One thing for sure we simply have to beat Reading on Friday, we cannot afford any more dropped home points against lower half teams - that, at the end of the day, is all that has cost us from being comfortably assured of a top six place.
  6. Still don't believe me?
  7. I reckon 72 points will give us 6th, provided we don't lose to Derby. Could do with Boro v Hull being a draw tomorrow...
  8. Villa win... But we will still be 6th with our destiny in our own hands.
  9. well for what its worth my "crystal ball" says we will finish 6th, that despite losing at Villa Saturday...
  10. Because the top 5 will be as they are now, only question is Leeds or Shef.U for 2nd.
  11. We won't finish higher than 6th, so will face Leeds or Shef U... As others have said would fancy us against SU
  12. I'm not given to being optimistic re City, but I think we will get 6th... Although going to be close...
  13. I only have one request... that Pato does NOT start.
  14. Have you forgotten that we only recently went 5 games without a win gaining just 2 pts? We are totally unpredictable under LJ, could easily lose the next 2 games and be out of the top six, or win them and have cemented our place.
  15. Either Palmer or Elliason from the start would have offered so much more than Pato, who bar a little spell after Palmer signed, has been so limp in most games. Especially at home games, Pato just 'hides' most of the time. The best thing he did in 60 mins yesterday was winning a corner just before he was subbed.
  16. I don't share your confidence in LJ, he can be a stubborn mule and it would be no surprise to me if we go back to 1 up top, if Weinmann not fit.
  17. If Wiemann not fit, I'd like to see Semenyo played up front (not left wing) alongside Fammy in Andi's position. Pato would be a poor substitute for Wiemann.
  18. Exactly this, nobody predicted our utterly dismal run after losing to Norwich. Then nobody would have thought we would go and get 6 points from Sheff.U & M'Boro. Anything could happen between now and end of the season, Wigan home will perhaps be an indicator. If it's back to the woeful performances like against Brum & Ipswich then the last two results will be a false dawn. If we can actually get our act together against a lower side at home and get a convincing win, then who knows
  19. Brilliant, just so unexpected after the Ipswich horror show. COYR
  20. Trouble is games like this when for the majority watching there is an obvious sub to be made, LJ does not see it, instead he just hopes we can hang on and only ends up making unforced subs when we have lost the lead.
  21. Thanks, it will be on BCTV for people who have an overseas subscription.
  22. So I assume the answer is "no", not on Sky Red Button tonight?
