FT 0-3, but we were right in the match up to the Vyner og 15 mins from time. Kalas my City MotM, thought he was superb. Pring really good too. All over a decent performance, with some good football. Well done City.

Yep, pretty pleased with that. Kalas and Pring both been first class, as well as Scott of course. Sam Bell least impressive, had two good runs but picked wrong options and badly at fault for their goal, where he just switched off.

If Man City are on it we could easily be slaughtered like the Woman were against them, 0-6 & 1-8 in their two cup games this season. I'm hoping that's not the case and we can stay in the game for at least an hour, but to do that every player on our side is going to have to be at the top of their game.

If, and it's still a big IF, we can beat London City to top place, then it's pretty low cost (compared to Men's spending) to improve the squad to be able to compete with the bottom 4 in the WSL, then if we can stay up can look to compete against the middle 4 as well. Same would be true for London City.

Sam Bell's has the misfortune to find that Mehmeti is now ahead of him in the pecking order for LHS attacker. For me Sam is not suited to playing central striker, and should not be picked ahead of Wells to start in that role.

Wells already confirmed by NP will start, as will Sam Bell I'd wager but in his natural position on the LHS as Mehmeti (and Cornick) cup tied.

I'd agree re: James MotM today. Williams has done well since coming in for Kai, shown he can play a disciplined role alongside James. A few poor loose passes from him, but overall a positive for sure.
