Playing well, but the quality of the last ball is not there.
As much to do with having no presence in the centre, need Wells there, don't understand picking Bell for that role.
-
Another crossing chance goes begging, we are soooo missing Wells in the middle
-
Bell had to hit it first thing then, another chance goes begging.
-
Come on Bell, really think Wells is a much better option as the central forward.

Sykes getting into great positions, but his crosses not finding anyone
-
looked a pen then on Mehmeti, but not given

Another low cross in, that's at least 4 already but nobody getting on the end of them
-
Bell should have hit for goal there

good block Kallas

He's sure to start on Tuesday
Still find it odd that he does not start in the middle of the front 3 instead of Bell (who is better suited coming in from Left, like Mehmeti).

Hope to see Sykes, Wells and either Bell/Mehmeti on the left of front 3.

More of the same when it came to the FKs from Matty James today, floaty nothing balls in. I know Naismith would normally take them when fit, but surely we have to have someone else who is better than James and can actually fizz a ball in with some pace on it.
FWIW, aside from his succession of poor FKs, thought James played really well today.

Hopefully we will revert to Wells up top and Sykes on the right. Bell or Mehmeti is a tough call, happy either way.

Play him centrally up front, or in the no.10 role but not out wide. Amazed it took 77 mins before he was finally hooked. Reckon Cornick would make a better rotational switch for Sykes.

Weimann next. Been pretty ordinary today and Tanner doesn't seem to have a clue what Andi is trying to do in front of him. Mainly, I think, because Andi's never sure what he's going to do either
Weimann is a poor replacement for Sykes in that position, would suit Cornick better.

2-0 final score, unfortunalty London City won a harder game away at Birmingham 0-1.

Nige was right to replace Wells and Bell who just didn't look on it.
Sykes has been a revelation. Great lad.
Thought Wells and Bell both got through a lot of chasing down and it was more a case of introducing fresh legs - nice option to have.
Reckon either Wells or Bell would have scored from the chance Cornick wasted, but fair enough to swap them out when he did.

NO, but no longer worried about relegation.

Everybody did great, maybe Tanner & Pring joint Motm. Only disappointment was maybe Cornick who really should score with 10 to go, and never quite managed to keep hold of the ball when played up to him. Mehmeti has electric pace, looking forward to seeing more of him.

There it is 1-0 FT, well deserved.

Kalas on for Sykes

Cornick has to do better when the ball is played up to him, and hold it.
