  1. Clearly the eyes of a complete moron then.... Well, that doesn’t sound very ‘loyal’ does it. I thought they followed their team in huge numbers through thick and thin? Obviously not, fickle plastic Sags. Love the fact he thinks they’d take over a thousand to Bradford
  2. It’s nothing special every other season mate. Still, next time we ‘only’ take 1800 to the Hawthorns on a Tuesday night for a match available on Sky TV you can guarantee there will still be a gullible few on here telling us “Gas would’ve sold out”.
  3. Travelling in huge numbers...”it’s just what they do”
  4. They often compare their attendances over the last couple of years with our attendances from the early 80s. The fact crowds were down all over the country at the time (including Eastville where they only averaged 5300 in the division ABOVE us) is never taken into consideration. 7248 home fans for a League 1 match is awful, especially for a club who’s fans constantly peddle the myth that they are super loyal and support their team in huge numbers no matter what happens. If they’d been in our shoes in 1982 after 3 successive relegations, losing matches, staring financial ruin in the face with crowd numbers down across the country I doubt their attendances would’ve got much over 2000.
  5. That ‘stand’ is utterly hilarious, and unlike the other small tent up there, it’s in full view of the TV Cameras so everyone can point, laugh and see what their owners think of them. That structure is their ‘identity’ in a nutshell. Still, 6th richest club in the country apparently ....that’s what their supporters were saying anyway. I bet they wished they’d kept their mouths shut now They never learn.
  6. Hahaha, that’s amazing. Just when you think it’s impossible for them to get more tinpot they build this. This must be part of that proud ‘identity’ they keep banging on and on about. A new tent in a ground they pinched, paid for by foreign owners who clearly aren’t interested. We’ll just have to put up with the Premiership ready stadium that’s been our home for over a century. Damn.
  7. 47029 was the official attendance. But they really can’t help themselves can they. Why do they lie constantly about attendances? Its bizarre.
  8. I wonder if they’ll be so principled if they get to the final?
  9. The fact they don’t have ambitions is probably the very reason they’ve achieved absolutely nothing since 1883 and have owners who are happy to keep them in the dark and put tents up at the Mem instead of building a proper stadium with money from their own pockets. I imagine them all walking around on matchday, repeating over and over again “we are proud to be shit, we are proud to be shit” like a bunch of zombies.
  10. What the hell is that Dumbo talking about? Having a arena for the basketball (as well as other possible uses) next to Ashton Gate is somehow going to make us lose our identity? As for the comparison with MK Dons, do they have a basketball stadium next to their ground? I don’t get it? Only one Bristol club has moved to another City in the past Saggy, and it’s not us. Given half the chance they’d be quite happy to move out of Bristol again, unlike us who still play at our spiritual home of over a century. I love it when the Sags get worried and jealous.
  11. They call us fickle but our actions and complaints are always based what we feel is best for City along with a fierce loyalty towards the club itself. Look at what’s happened at the Gas over the last year alone, the stadium fiasco, no information about future plans, best players sold without being adequately replaced plus a manager who’s losing the plot...and the worst start to a season for 26 years. Despite all that any criticism of the owners or Dopey is largely frowned upon by most of the blue few. Its like they feel more loyalty towards certain individuals than they do towards the club as a whole.
  12. Or maybe the “Happy Days” remark that gets thrown back in his face every time they lose a match? Not 100% sure, it’s sounds ridiculous but then we are talking about Leeds. He got a few Facebook ‘likes’ out of it anyway, Gasheads spouting off about loyalty and how we wouldn’t know the meaning of the word...a bit like they did when Matty Taylor signed a new contract, 5 months before jumping ship to join us for peanuts.
  13. ....because he didn’t have the bottle, plus I expect Wally told him a few porkies about a new stadium and training facilities on the horizon and he fell for it. At the Gas there’s is almost zero pressure on him from their dull fan base as they just accept any old shit as long as Dopey starts every interview by “taking full responsibility”, even when he clearly doesn’t mean it.
  14. They had a thread on Slagchat about a month ago called ‘Mass exodus at the Gate’ which was basically a load of belters rubbing their piss stinking hands together in excitement about how we’ve lost our best players and not replaced them with any quality. Think we’re doing ok so far, obviously a long way to go. Anybody know how the Sags are getting on with all the ‘quality’ signings they must have made after selling Harrison?
  15. Is that Weezord again? Well, only one Bristol club has well over 100 consecutive seasons in the football league and it’s not the Gas. So they can stick their ‘1883’ up their arses because they haven’t even got a Freight Rover trophy to their name in all that time.
  16. You’d think with Pompey being top of League 1 he’d be over the moon, but no..he seems more preoccupied with the fortunes of some tinpot club at the other end of the table? It’s almost like he’s not really a Pompey fan but was just too embarrassed to admit being a Gashead. Surely not...
  17. Our last 2 visits to Luton on a Saturday afternoon have seen us take 968 and 1548 fans in 2004 and 2005. In 2003 we took 1200. All in League 1, like they are at the moment. Obviously I’m only mentioning these attendances because I know they love to compare our away support with theirs. I’m sure they will plaster these figures all over Facebook and Twitter.
  18. 519. It’s amazing to think that they genuinely believe their away support is something special. They bang on and on about it... Travelling in huge numbers, “it’s just what they do....” apparently Deluded idiots.
  19. Why don’t you go preach to them, most Gasheads I’ve seen posting on Social Media appear to feel exactly the same way about us.
  20. Ignoring the standard Gas bollocks about our fans gobbing all over the place, I presume he’s talking about the Amici Bar here? Sombody might want to correct me if I’m wrong but wasn’t that incident started by Forest fans who legged it into the Amici Bar once they’d realised they’d bitten off more than they could chew and the City fans went after them? The Sag is trying to make it sound like we inexplicably target family gatherings on away trips? Sounds more like something they’d do tbh. Is that the City fans who were stopped by the Police on the way to Birmingham and were prevented from attending the game for no reason at all? Can’t the thick Sags see what might be slightly unfair about that? When did this happen? Unless by 2 reports he means Henbury Gas and his mate talking to the Copper when she paid him a visit? Why haven’t they been able to talk to the victim? HG originally claimed he knew him well. There were no reports made to either the club or the Police. Their constant desire to distort the facts is one of the many reasons we laugh at them. This thread wouldn’t exsist if they didn’t keep giving us the ammo to fire back at them. Hello Slagheads, thanks for visiting
  21. It’s worth remembering that at various times over the last 12 months their ‘ITKs’ have suggested various imminent takeovers from Chinese and American Consortiums to James Dyson, the G Tech Brummie and Peter Hargreaves. Hopefully it’ll turn out to be Nick Higgs.
