  1. Sounds like their backend is held together by sticking plasters. Unfortunately they always manage to stick me with charges for each ticket I purchase.
  2. Thanks for that. I suppose the EFL clubs could vote to amend their regulations, but I guess they have a participation contract in place with the FA if it is a mandatory requirement for member clubs. Makes the FA actions worse than I thought.
  3. Due to info from @View from the Dolman my reply is nonsensical. Mods feel free to delete this post!
  4. Teams can opt out of the fa cup if they feel that strongly about it.
  5. I never even remember realising this - I'm sure it was obvious but I don't think it caused a fuss. Obs if we had the internet back then there'd be a 500 page thread of outrage on yeoldeotib.com
  6. Yeah, me to when I congratulated him post game for his hat trick v Walsall, and getting promotion.
  7. There's the issue right there. 'Singing section'. What prevents people signing around the rest of the ground, and why is it so quiet in general. Phones and no shows are an issue, but all this should be spontaneous.
  8. I'd be signing up any decent players Rovers produce (hopefully getting them to run down their contracts) or want to sign, and loaning them out to their close rivals. You can rest assured that under my stewardship I'd just mess with the Gas, and the City team would go to rack and ruin. Actually, hold that thought. I could probably do more damage by taking them over directly.
  9. End of season is where he could do with a mentor to help him analyse his own performance, agree what's working well, and suggest areas for improvement, and an implementation plan. Is Tins going to (or able) to do that? Cus if things get left as they are, he'll probably end up making the same mistakes next season. For example, Knight in wrong role, exclusively one upfront, sometimes playing too conservatively, taking too much notice of what the opposition are going to do, and combating that, instead of giving them problems with combating us.
  10. Can you imagine the meltdown on here if some posters found out we we paying Bournemouth or Luton to play us. Apoplectic.
  11. Nah, the Pompey fans in the enclosure. I'm not sure whether he had lost an element of city fans by that time.
  12. I think I last went when Osman was playing for us, maybe player manager. I sort of remember them giving him a lot of stick when warming up as sub.
  13. No one in your league will want to play you - properly at least. Prem oppo will be on lucrative pre season tours, or will demand a big fee, or send squad playets/u21s. Decent L1 teams are probably the best we'll end up with.
  14. They do that to put off shoplifters don't they? Maybe they thought you you were doing to stick a nice 3 seater down your trousers and do a runner?
  15. Are there no bins at Meadow Park then?
  16. We got beat 4-1 then https://twitter.com/AcademyBFC/status/1780235303359259035?ref_src=twsrc^google|twcamp^serp|twgr^tweet
  17. I don't want to comeover all @Robbored, but I don't see this on OS. Have they tweeted this out?
  18. As soon as they said it was going to be mainly about City women I turned off. Not that I dislike them - hell, I watched the entire 90 mins on Sky yesterday - but I'm only inerested in non matchday mens team discussion.
  19. He doesn't look great in a City shirt - he's been underwhelming at best. I imagine Burnley are well aware of his limitations, and will look to get value by duping a club into signing him at an inflated price. We really need to up our recruitment game, as @Davefevs says, there will be better options available.
  20. 'It's my club.' Hearing from Steve Lansdown would not do anything for ST renewals.
  21. The women's team are a subsidiary of the men's team, and you need look no further than Gavin Marshall/Jon Lansdown--> Steve Lansdown. Guaranteed they'll be spending as little as possible next season. But good news, they won't need to scuff up the Ashton Gate pitch 11 times.
  22. She probably bested us on her own.
  23. City chose not to fund it properly, which is absolutely pathetic if you ask me. I do genuinely feel sorry for our girls, most of whom are being asked to do a job beyond them. If we ever get to the Prem, don't be too shocked if a similar investment strategy is implemented.
  24. I thought they look at all potential penalty decisions?
  25. I've got my headphones on and I can clearly hear one of their knobheads chanting 'what the Buckingham hell was that' in amongst the ra-ra public school like singing.
