  1. Great fun reading through my "TimeHop" this morning. I was listening to the game at a friend's house in Cardiff - it was also the day that the Redbirds got relegated from the Premiership. Top day all round.
  2. People said that about Bristol for years...
  3. And Player's gone down just at kick off. Probably a blessing. Anything to do with the loud bangs?
  4. You get a like just for "twatwibbler". My new favourite insult.
  5. They clearly had a plan and the penalty decision after a clear offside obviously helped that plan. Too many of our players underperformed and the pace was lacking today, but we could easily still be sitting here with a point if Bobby had got something to it properly. Cardiff are not a great team by any stretch, and I would have liked to see us press them more in the final third, something which Paterson was starting to do in the second half before being taken off. If Tammy had been ill, I'd have left Pato on and just swapped Wilbs with Tammy.
  6. From that list, you'd imagine Huddersfield, Barnsley, Birmingham and Reading will drop off as the season goes on. Maybe Wolves and Brentford too. Could be a great season.
  7. What a strong team and bench we have now, with Adam Matthews and Korey Smith still to come back. EDIT: Missed O'Neil!! Finally, a proper Championship squad as well as a decent first eleven. Should give many Championship teams a good game.
  8. That is truly unbelievable , delusion at its finest.
  9. How did you get on in Scunny, by the way?
  10. Love the way their new ginger signing in the second row still looks like he's trying to get out of the picture. Looks like an embarrassed tourist stuck next to a stag group on the way to Maga.
  11. What new facts are there in that post? The "billionaire" label comes out again, which is definitely up for debate. The only definite facts relate to City's rebuild giving us a 27k stadium... There are far more questions than answers about this takeover. Al Qadi seem to be a family intent on running the club properly, through the academy and through evolution. It won't bring success though unless they can get to Category 1, which I think will be Lansdown's next aim and City are far more likely to get there first, meaning City can cherry pick the best Rovers players anyway.
  12. Serious question. In the days of FFP, at L2 level, how much of an impact can this sort of investment have now? I guess the stadium could get built, which could increase turnover, but would you get 18-21k watching L2 football when there's a 27k, hopefully, Championship team down the road? I'm assuming they can't bankroll loads of transfers and high wages instantaneously, so can't see how this will have a huge, quick impact, unless they suddenly get lucky in the transfer market and find some cheap gems.
  13. I read it as we had a new wingback having medical, but was probably wrong!
