  1. The top and bottom of it all is we’ve been figured out by most sides at home. We pose bang average teams no threat cos they sit in, play 4-5-1 and force us into our sideways keep ball which we’re more than happy to do because of our footballing philosophy. I guarantee almost every side that comes to AG between now and the end of the season will do the same. Away, we’re a different animal, teams that press us get picked off with our countering style. At home we can’t break teams down and haven’t really been able to since we’ve been back in the championship. Something has to change because we are so easy to play against, it’s embarrassing predictable. Any visiting coach who’s done even a half-assed due diligence will do exactly what Rowett and Mowbray have done this week. Today, we were guilty of giving the ball away in midfield.....a lot! I stopped counting at 10+ and this was way before the second goal. A steep learning curve for HNM for sure.

Watford.....another basket case of a club at the moment

Posting a picture of the passes is definitely promoting it. Can have as lengthy a discussion about is as you like, without further promoting the material? The material was offensive and vile and was removed, the same way anything posted that’s racist in nature would be removed. If someone is desperate to see what everyone is talking about, a quick google search will find what they’re looking for, but there isn’t and shouldn’t be a platform for it here. Should probably add for clarity, I had nothing to do with its removal, this is just my opinion, but fully support whichever one of the mod team did pull it.

You said in your post that the people that made those passes must be “wired incorrectly”, yet you think you deserve a reason or explanation as to why OTIB wouldn’t want to promote such shithousery? You’re right though, some people are just wired wrong.
  5. I think Massengo needs a break, not that that will help!
  6. Keith Stroud as consistent as ever
  7. Apologies, yes Hunt at RWB but the point remains.
  8. I thought we started and ended the first half brightly. Our passing was slick, movement fluid and Eliasson was a genuine threat. After the goal he wasn’t utilised nearly enough, but I thought we looked good. Then at HT, for reasons I still can’t fathom, Weimann went to the left wing and O’Dowda went central and we looked stale. Although Rowe was on a booking, he wasn’t struggling defensively so it was odd. Then, subs are made, we go three at the back with Hunt playing centre back and nobody seemed to know who was doing what. As others have said, better sides would have slain us today second half and if they had, then the blame would have been at the managers door. Sometimes, he tries to tinker, over-think and be a smart-arse and it ends up costing us. The changes in shape were unnecessary today imo, Reading posed little threat until we invited them to. Edit to say Taylor Moore was magnificent.
  9. Love the way he plays with his head up. Looks like real potential.
  10. There were six Swansea lads sat behind me in front of the Heineken Lounge. I clocked them early doors obvs because they weren’t hiding the fact they were from over the bridge. I gave them some friendly advice about keeping their heads down should Swansea score and they were sensible and respectful throughout. Shook hands at full time and wished them all the best.
  11. Had a run in with a steward today who must have had her Weetabix for breakfast. At half-time, I felt a bit woozy so wanted to check my blood sugar. So went to walk out the KFC exit to get my meter and insulin. As I approached the gate, the conversation went as follows: Steward: Are you leaving for the day? Me: No, I’m just nipping to my car to..... Steward: (interrupting my explanation) You can’t leave, we’re on lockdown! Me: What do you mean lockdown? This isn’t North Korea. Steward: You can’t leave. Me: Well I can and I am. I’m diabetic and I need my medication which I’ve left in my car, (now I’m getting a bit chopsy myself as her attitude was appalling). So if you need to get on the radio and get someone down here to authorise it, then please do. Steward: (Blunt as you like) You should have remembered to bring it with you. Me: (fuming now) Do you think I did it on purpose? Steward: Go on, I’ll give you 5 minutes. Me: (utterly speechless)...... Obviously absent for the common sense and awareness training.
  12. Generous marks for Kasey here. I thought it looked like he’d been on the piss all week at times. Looked lethargic and restrained. Thought he was injured at one point he was so immobile.

His reading of the game is exceptional for his age and experience. If I’m being picky, thought he dropped a little too deep too early at times, allowing their midfield on to us. But still MOM for me. As someone else has said, I thought Taylor Moore was decent. Walking on eggshells after getting booked early, but did well.

Delighted for him. 3rd goal was a great finish, 2nd goal was a very cute pull on Connor Coady, allowing him to get ahead of the wolves man. Seems unreal that he’s still so young which makes his performances for us even more special. Good on you Tammy.
  15. Not sure I’m a fan of modern football. Passing for passings sake, between the width of the goal on the edge of your own box? Give the ball to the people who play and play in their half. Guardiola has a lot to answer for!
  16. Was impressed by Ricardo Rees who came on at half time and played on the right hand side. Made some good touches, passes and interceptions when he came on. Wasn’t afraid to muck in defensively either and could see he was enjoying being coached through the second half by LJ.
  17. Have to say, his distribution is excellent. He didn’t really have a save to make today of any consequence, but did what he had to do.
  18. Sorry to report that once again, Adelakun has been awful. Constantly gives it away and runs down blind alleys. Doesn’t appear to have a footballing brain at this level, nevermind higher. Yeah he’s got tricks and a step over or two in his locker, but much else I’m afraid.
  19. LJ now coaching from the technical area
  20. Just realised that David Stockdale is in goal for the bluenoses. Josh McEacheran playing too.
  21. There are and have been superb short keepers. Neville Southall (my hero as a boy) immediately springs to mind. Admittedly, not as short as this young man, but hopefully he grows a bit further. Must have something about him to be playing this level, so good luck to him.
  22. Semenyo scores with first touch.
  23. This is correct. KP often in the hole behind Szmodics. Not linked up much at all. Game needs an injection of tempo, it’s being played at a walking pace.
  24. Bloke next to me has said it three times! Lino in front the lansdown looks like Albert Steptoe and is probably the same age! Scrappy game to be fair.
  25. Yeah the shell suit. It was well smart. They did do the matching bottoms, I had the full suit.
