It’s the most overrated stat in football. We coped without it. Not interested if it’s used by betting companies or coaches either. It appears its biggest use is by football fans on innumerable football podcasts and forums. It’s no more an important stat than shots on target.

Also, we may not have got him had we waited until the end of the season.

Such is the impact King had, those shirts could belong to Scott and Conway. One of Nigel’s most important signings.

I enjoyed watching that. Having done so, I’m still confused as to why the man, Mr Nigel Graham Pearson, is not liked or respected by all here. An absolute gent.

Would love to see it. Unfortunately it’s usually the same names and types that crop up whenever there is a vacancy.

I don’t imagine he was ever seriously linked with the job here.
