  1. Deserves a sticky at the top of the page.
  2. Loma force of nature. Love watching him in an era of instantly forgettable fighters
  3. It wasn't a dig at you. There is a lot written about it.. but us as fans generally only want to look at the nostalgic hero's of our club bit. If you really want to know the history there is loads out there. Just as easy to find as that story you went looking for.
  4. I was. And a lot is written about the 8.. not so much about others that lost livelihoods. All gets brushed under the carpet for a nostalgic look back at history.
  5. Or businesses and people made redundant at said businesses that were not paid by Bristol city. That is who I feel more grateful to than 8 footballers who would have been out of a job if the had agreed or not agreed to rip up their contracts. Personally I think those who lost more than those footballers are the ones that really lost out.
  6. Them sags will have fun playing joob cricket with this one!!!
  7. Time to let Eliasson get a half in a league game. Perfect situation to show what he can do in the league.
  8. I went to that one and I'm sure it was Rosenior who osman pulled a masterstroke with by putting probably the best header of a ball I have seen at city even though not being 6ft to centre back and he headed everything that went to Francis. Or did I dream that?
  9. You haven't counted the hordes locked outside
  10. Indeed, ego vs ego, not helped at all. probably wanted a different boxer to help him truth be told, they all have ego, but these too a clash was kind of inevitable
  11. Looks like Paulie was bullshitting, seems to me Conner was hiting him at will cracking his head back a few times, doesn't look like a push to me, and he looked far more tired than McGregor
  12. Waels executive box isn't it? Who would film that shit?
  13. Pikey plaza in memory of what could have been
  14. Is that £10k stadium improvements? You'll be waiting a long time
  15. So people can look at it if they want to, why put anything on the internet?
  16. He isn't a hooligan, so why would he stand and take a pasting from some inbred knuckle draggers? His videos highlight the match day experience, including running from retards, if that is part of the experience. Any sane human wouldn't want a punch in the face or a stamp on the head just for watching a football match would they?
  17. Quite amazed it didn't put Wlad on his ass. They always go on about his suspect chin, but he took that beaut and needed another 3 or 4 clums to put him on on his ass.
  18. Wlad used to like a bit of a tear up until he got a better trainer. then dominate and bored people. I like them both, they went after the title, and kept it for a decade. I think Joshua has the natural power, he could probably be more effective with being a little lighter with more speed.
  19. Indeed, for me both the Klitsckho brothers were and are a credit to their sport, they get such a bad press, but the way both of them managed fights, for me was very impressive. Joshua will have learned a hell of a lot tonight, this may be the making of him.
  20. Aye, I reckon Vitali was the better of the two as well, had more killer instinct for me. i'd like to see Wilder, they are similar, both capable of the KO, after that,Fury,it will take him the best part of a year to gt back into shape, his style is so annoying I am not sure if AJ could deal with it,it would be interesting to see a AJ punch nailed on Fury's chin, just to really see what Fury is all about.
  21. Indeed, I also prefer boxing. UFC is very much dependent on your style, its not all on the floor with elbows to the head, the most spectacular knockouts are far from floor based grappling, unless you are looking at the woman's ex champ when it was all about dislocating the oopponents arm. UFC is brutal where as boxing imo has more class. I like both, but prefer boxing.
  22. I reckon Wlad 10 years younger would have taken AJ's head off after the 6th. But he must have had so much belief in his own fight management not to do it. That decision bit him in the ass, I think as you say AJ was there for the taking, I bet those muscles were feeling so tired for a few rounds, legs wobbly and arms feeling like lead. Showed heart, a lot of heart, but I am betting Wlad feels like he made the wrong decision in that fight now.
  23. depends what you are looking for. UFC covers many forms of fighting tactics whereas boxing covers 1. UFC if far more technically challenging, but I do prefer boxing out of the two. Get a boxer in with a UFC fighter at the same weight and UFC fighter wins... unless the boxer has had the relevant training.
  24. I had Wlad up by 1, but your and my decision would have meant nowt if it had gone to cards
