You can remember her even more every time the poppies and hibiscus flower Tone. I lost one of my cats last year on the 6th June ( tomorrow ). ...still get upset now and tomorrow will hurt but I try to think of the great life she had with us.....Im sure your dog had 2 great years with you.

Never saw him play, was just before my time but had he still been with us he would be 90 today.

In the latest gripping installment of wtf is life. 

I'm off to give a statement to the police on Wednesday after my ex has effectively skipped town owing me 1500 quid and a long and sustained period of physical and domestic violence. 

That's on top of both parents having had Covid 19 over Xmas and dealing with a long term shoulder injury. 

That doesn't even cover half of it...

Don't keep it to yourself. Talk to people about it if you can...there's people out there who can help. Those who will listen. Sharing a problem can help. Plus a few of us on here who are happy to communicate bearing in mind confidentiality issues of course. And try to look ahead as positively as you can. Many of us have had issues in the past we've got over or maybe are still dealing with but you're not on your own remember that. Take care.

Since my last post, she has signed the necessary documentation and sent it back to the solicitor dealing with the order. She didn't show a solicitor in the end. Probably because, as you say, they'd tell her she'd be entitled to xyz. So that's something at least. 

I've not taken any sleeping medication for a few nights now and bar waking up at 3 this morning, I did get back to sleep pretty quickly so I am hoping I won't be needing them any longer. 

I am sorry to have read of your situation too. Its so worrying how we can trust someone like that and then they be so deceitful. And well done for all that you have achieved since. Your son is very proud I am sure. 

Your sleep pattern should slowly get back to normal...if you wake at 3 so be it......the more you think about it the more it will keep you awake. I often wake at 2 or 3 and just think "oh well, I'm awake, so what ?"...... to then slip back to sleep for a few more hours. The times I've had a quick look on this forum early hours, you'd be surprised how many people are online at that time so we aren't alone...

Started with a pie being thrown at a copper knocking his helmet off...await the jokes....then they let the alsatians in on us. That part of their ground was shut after that and never re opened  until major alteration was done to it. That was bedlam.
