  1. No issues for me (although I entered the code some time ago when it arrived)
  2. Thought our match v Plymouth on 19 Sept might have attracted the cameras but pleased it hasn’t; should be a good crowd and atmosphere.
  3. Link below may help re account opening - there is no charge. Linking accounts: on your account page ticket site - personal details section - you’ll see a friends and family link. You can manage and create a relationship with another account holder from there. Guide to Bristol Sport club accounts | Bristol Sport
  4. Hope you replied as per the Flint chant - FO Swindon Town…no, no, no etc!
  5. Needs to stay with us to work on this side of his game? And I reckon he might get a few for us this season if he does stay with Knight and James alongside him.
  6. GJ/Torquay view on the match: Gaffer On Bristol City Encounter - Torquay United
  7. I said the same above. And to be fair, given he achieved a league championship with us that probably reinforces the ‘been there, done that’ feeling. I don’t understand the ill feeling towards him - but then I never will understand it regarding anyone in that league one championship team. Plus he also scored one of my favourite City goals of all time (v Man Utd - a thing of beauty.
  8. Exactly what I was thinking! Coupled with the fact that’s it’s best for everyone that he didn’t come back so it’s a good outcome for us as well!
  9. I was being facetious given their pricing!
  10. Done and good luck. Seems to be a sensible location. I hope to be able to get a train to Oxford Parkway and stroll to the ground one day. (Hopefully when not foggy, unlike my visit to the Manor!)
  11. and rather than dealing with journalists/stupid questions.
  12. I don’t see why people are getting so excited about what he has said here to be honest. He says ‘backward step in my life’, i.e. going back to something in his life he has already done. (I must admit I’d have second thoughts about doing the same - been there done that.) Coupled with the fact that when he spoke to us his first choice was to go abroad - that didn’t ultimately come off. Millwall came later. Plus he actually says he loves us etc. Personally I’m just pleased that he and Nigel were able to have such an open and honest conversation about the situation. The right decision for all concerned - including for us fans!
  13. A bit from JB here on why he decided not to join us - basically he wasn’t sure that it would be right to go back; understandable - people often say ‘never go back’ - and the right call if any doubt in my view. 14. Thought I’d link again the FAQs that City put out as I see that people are still asking Qs that were answered by the club at the launch. They are very helpful. https://www.bcfc.co.uk/tickets-memberships/season-tickets/digital-season-tickets-faqs/
  15. My Derby mate (season ticket holder) says this: “Great player. Very sorry to lose him but he has been so loyal. Will run through walls for you. Korey Smith with speed and a good tackle. Proper box to box midfielder.”
  16. Dread to think what the ticket price would have been if he’d got his pay rise!
  17. See above. It auto updates before each match. Check you have auto updates set to on on the ticket.
  18. Must admit I find Apple Pay on my phone more convenient and quicker than getting a credit card out of a physical wallet, so I’m expecting the same positive experience with the digital season ticket as it’s the same process. I also have train tickets, flight boarding passes, store cards etc on my phone for similar convenience. I always have my phone on me; I don’t always want to carry a physical wallet around. I accept though that some fans will need a physical season card as they don’t use smart phones.
  19. Q&As here https://www.bcfc.co.uk/tickets-memberships/season-tickets/digital-season-tickets-faqs/ A Season Ticket holder’s Digital Season Ticket will update to show the next available fixture, at least two days before the next match. Please ensure you have automatic updates enabled in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.
  20. And you definitely have Apple wallet on your phone? Reason I ask is that I saw this in the Q&A: I can’t find Apple Wallet on my iPhone? From iOS version 16.1 onwards, it's possible to remove Apple Wallet from your iPhone. If you can't find your Apple Wallet, go to the App Store on your phone and search 'Apple Wallet'. If you have removed it by accident, you will have the option to install it again.
  21. I had never heard of passbook but I see this on Apple wallet article on Wikipedia Apple Passbook was announced at the 2012 Apple Worldwide Developers Conference on June 11, 2012, and released with iOS 6 on September 19, 2012.[2] It was renamed "Apple Wallet" with the release of iOS 9 on September 16, 2015. so is it an old phone or on on old software?
  22. Something that people might like to know: I downloaded my season ticket to my current iPhone earlier. I still have an old phone (no longer connected to mobile network) that I use around the house (especially bathroom as less precious!) as a wifi only device for internet radio/music etc (like an iPod touch would work). My season ticket has also popped up on the wallet on that old phone automatically so I have it on two devices. So there is clearly not going to be on an issue with changing phones in the future - it will pop up in any phone wallet on the same Apple account.
