Don’t want to hear from them, grateful as ever for the support but the lack of credible direction and vision for the club from either John or Steve when the shit was hitting the fan says it all.

Palmer is going unless he gets injured between now and the end of the season. Who knows what will happen with the other midfielders…fate can be fickle.
What a player this kid is! No nonsense
Pickford should be worried mind you!
In some respects I agree on both accounts but, Pickford is nailed on under Southgate and I’m not convinced the manager fancy’s Cole as part of this group for this Euros, and to be honest I kinda get that.

We wont pay enough to sign Twine perm and if the last transfer window is anything to go by we will bring in a cheap striker from abroad we have never heard of and not play him/or he will be injured pre season.
All this while accepting any offer for any of our players, this will turn next season from mediocre to poor and desperate, most will still hang on to hope till xmas at least however.
Our owner will not make enough investment to push us on just the min to keep us ticking over.......so predictable.
Agreed, this is where my expectations are also. Burnley look likely to come down anyway so can’t see Twine going anywhere (bit like us really).

Kicking and distribution were bang on for me, looking pretty composed and full of confidence.

Was listening to Rovers commentary on a stream and there was a very clear groan

We look very good as a squad at the back now, great options not much if any tinkering needed
-
We were on em from the first minute to the last, clearly didn’t expect that level of itensity. High energy without the ball and composed with it - lovely jubbly

Do some forget that NP was given more time than many managers at other clubs would have been allowed? On 2 occasions there were consistent calls from the fanbase he should go... And yet he was stuck by; until the 3rd time.
Irrespective of the fact he was doing a rebuilding phase during some of this period, the lack of consistency was alarming. Also, so many seem to forget the football was woeful to watch at times.
I struggle to understand some of our fans who have allowed Manning less than 20% of the time NP had and yet want him gone. Give the bloke at least a preseason and the first 15 matches of the 24/25 season to judge him.
That kind of sensible chat has no place here, this is a Pro Pearson thread for forgetful Pro Pearson people.

Definitely finish as high as we can this season. A lot of fans still need convincing we are on the right path (and I include myself in that number). Some evidence that Manningball can be successful will actually have an impact on our financials as much as anything. The last two games have been a good start.
Not just fans but potential new signings, momentum is key heading into pre season.

Desperate for the win today and a sniff of consistency.

One less position to worry about next season, really starting to look quality at this Ievel now and will ‘keep’ improving.

I’ll say it again. Give him the summer. Let the guy find his feet. I know that’s not what was sold, but nothing we can do about that. I believe he is the right man for the job and I’m certainly excited moving forward.

Agree, but pretty sure it’s not what Manning was selling at the time and he’s the one getting all the grief, thats the fault of the p*** poor comms from the club at the time.

Liam Manning is clearly a coach for a higher standard (see West 'am, Forest, Southampton) than Bristol City and middle of the Championship and the worthy squad of players we have at our disposal, it's just a question of: can Bristol City reach the level Manning is at, and destined to be.
I think your onto something here, to expect this bloke to take someone else’s team, completely change there mentality and playing style and still compete top half was and still may never happen. I’m actual fact top half may still be achievable.
We’ll lose some and win some in the next few weeks but for me this season was kinda written off in November by the club, hoping for a balls out kinda of pre season.

Round pegs round holes, isn’t this supposed to be his best position?

No issue with this sort of thing in the off season but to do it now when the relationship with the fans and the club is far from great is just a joke.
Whoever is making decisions on media comms at the moment either doesn’t give a toss what we might think or is just clueless about the impact.

Lewendowski must be about 50 !

Decent performance with loads of positives, you add back in Kane and Saka’s goals and pretty much a new back line then with the addition of Manoo who looks like the next Kante then you have a very decent side pretty much at there peak I would say.

if belgium were really trying and had de bruyne, this would have been over ages ago
Could say the same for both teams, especially England pretty much with half the 1st team not on the pitch

It doesn't but my opinion isn't based on just this game..
A lot of overhyped players who aren't as good as our media have you believe
It’s a massive issue with the way we play, relies heavily on Kane dropping deep and adding to the midfield, we don’t have a like for like if he’s out that’s good enough. My only criticism of Southgate is that we don’t seem to have a Plan B that is good enough.

Leicester to one side the run in will likely save him as well as the return of Jamo, our midfields been adrift without him and we’ll likely end up around the 60pt mark.

Great footballer
Good academy organiser
Awful manager
Abysmal Technical Director
Shocking Communicator
Anyone who can do an interview to improve the situation, only to make it worse is at best, incompetent
Communication really has been as bad as I can ever remember this season, bordering amateur and unprofessional at times.
For a management team that claim to be progressive and forward thinking they are clueless when it comes to getting the fans (life blood of this club) onboard with the plan.
Tinnion for all his positive points and service to the club is out of his depth even if LM proves to be a success, just doesn’t have the presence and expierence to direct our football club.

Ipswich signed moore and alhamadi, either of those 2 could have come in and done a job for us?
Transfer strategy this Jan was clearly about the summer writing off this season, they’d assumed the risk of a relegation battle to be a slim one - could/should cost them all thier jobs.
