  1. He’s an assest who is currently worth 60m or so after 10 games, he could ‘potentially’ be worth double that so the wages are worth it from a Chelsea point of view
  2. He plays for Chelsea in the Premier league, there are not many bigger clubs in Europe currently - he may not have won any silverware yet but that’s irrelevant
  3. This - Chelsea can pay him 200k a week and still make a decent profit on him. I must be the only one who doesn’t give a shit how much these players are paid, sky pay 10m per game so why shouldn’t the players earn a fortune? When your at the top or your profession in the entertainment business you get big bucks, no different to movie stars or bands
  4. It just needs to **** off out of football
  5. So is VAR checking every goal now? Does anybody actually know when it’s being used?
  6. Once it starts affecting City’s games and i can’t celebrate a goal then I’m done with my season tickets - I’ve no interest in it whatsoever
  7. Var is the death of the game - who actually wants it?
  8. It’s funny how we see things as i see the complete opposite especially with Swansea and Boro who both now have young managers (like ourselves) with something to prove. id rather that than a Pullis, McLaren, Allardyce type all day long
  9. The problem is nobody knows what it’s being used for there will be loads of goals given where there would have been a foul in the build up somewhere.
  10. The games done chaps - are all goals going to be checked? What a load of rubbish
  11. Totally agree - i had to edit my post as there was a glaring error in there!!
  12. I think people are more worried that the emotion is being taken out of the game rather than getting the right decision. Last night should never have gone to VAR and of those type of decisions are going to be looked at them the game has gone for the fans. The second VAR is introduced into the championship is the unfortunately the day i will never buy a ST again. That’s not me making a protest or anything like that, it will just mean it’s not the game for me anymore and i will find something else to do on a Saturday afternoon and will pick and choose the odd game (probably away as enjoy the crack) to attend.
  13. Think it’s also worth pointing out that Hourane plays with 2 of the best other midfielders in the division
  14. I was the one missing as was away but yes would have been the other 4, Paul’s team!
  15. Cardiff 2001 and palace 2008 both amazing days
  16. He would argue that our coaches have just got us to our best league position in 11 years..
  17. Again not to hijack but in July i will be doing the national 3 peaks whilst cycling 665 miles over 5 days trying to raise 10k for the CHSW. Nearer the time i will post the link to our page and of anyone could even donate a £1 it would all help.....
  18. Hahaha I’ve already been doing that in work
  19. Very easy to say what i would do yes - hence why i was quite clear saying i don’t think SL has to do this. If it makes the difference that we’re so often told it does then get people there for a one off
  20. If the fans can make the difference as what we’re told then if i was SL for this one off game i would have bought every ticket available and put on as many coaches as needed. By the way i don’t think SL should do this I’m just saying what i would do if i could!!
  21. I think it would be easier for officials if they were to form a team for the season so they get to know and work with each other. In regards to VAR, once it’s introduced it’s the last season i will renew my season ticket. To not be able to celebrate a last min winner just in case there is a decision to make is not for me. I like being able to talk about crap decisions

    Villa pub

The Manchester in Blackpool was always a good crack too
  23. I don’t get this line of thinking - goal keepers are paid a lot of money to keep the ball out of the net. That is their job, why do we deserve to lose because a player does his job well? It’s no different to saying we didn’t deserve to win if a striker scored a hat-trick
