  1. Harry Cornick having a great season. I think that’s his 7th goal now, first season at Champ level. Recommended to BCFC when at Christchurch prior to his move to a Bmuff. Nice to see him doing well.
  2. Yeah very similar. What has happened to Ali? Injuries? Don’t really follow the Prem. Ollie has just notched again btw....
  3. There were a few Prem clubs sniffing Bob I’m led to believe.
  4. Our chance to of got Ollie is now long gone. BCFC were well aware of his abilities pre Brentford, they even knew about him prior to making his Exeter first team debut. Shame as I know for a fact he would of loved to of signed for us back then. Top lad top player. As Chin said he’s a 15/20 million forward now.
  5. No Bayliss? How has he been since signing from Cov. City were sniffing around him....
  6. James used to play at youth level with a family member of mine so I’ve watched him quite a bit a few years ago. Seems like he plays now like he did then. Strolls through games, Unflustered. Classic old school play maker, technically very good & great vision. Reminds me of Paul Hartley. No idea on his current defensive traits and/or if he has an engine to go with his obvious talent but someone to keep an eye on for sure. A nice polite young lad & City fan. His dad Haydn is a scout for BCFC.
  7. City have been aware of Moore since his Conference South days. Obviously a player now on the up, recently called up to the Wales squad, decent age, Championship experience big & awkward with a surprising bit of pace. Been amongst the goals last couple of seasons & would be cheap(ish). Could do a lot worse if it’s an old fashion target man we want.
  8. 18 months left of his contract, won’t sign a new deal as (allegedly) wants to move back to London. The loan to Newport was always in the hope he impresses thus drumming up as many interested clubs as possible. Chelsea have been aware of Antoine since Filton. This is the window of max value. We sell & reinvest - Good business! And if it is Chelsea, a club we have good relations with then even better. Cue AS signing for United....
  9. Mr Pop, Are you seriously considering Hegeler as an option? He hasn’t played any Chanpionship minutes since god knows when & barely plays for the U23’s. Fitness wise he would be miles behind the rest. I’m also led to believe he does more ‘coaching’ than ‘training’ during the week. He was available for transfer in the last window but their were no takers. If he isn’t gone in Jan then no doubt he’ll be released at the end of the season?!? A player like Hegeler would work in you’re 3 in CM but no chance it will be the man himself.
  10. Spot on JD. Jake has great technical ability but one paced & extremely slow. Not very tall but strong. He has a brain & can pick a pass so playing off a striker is where we will see him eventually or as you say maybe even deeper. We need to be patient with him (21 next month) as the boy has genuine quality.
  11. Still playing catch up after injury pre season along with settling in to a new club etc. This takes time. Having watched MW during his non league days (which wasn’t that long ago) & more recently at Inverness he makes things happen due to his warrior like style, work rate & desire as opposed to any real skill and/or technique. A nasty bugger at times as well, which I like & probably what we've needed. He is not like a skillfull Eliasson who will beat players & whip in immaculate crosses. Watkins is a physical nuisance can play wide or uptop & is a goal threat, as
