  1. Just watched the highlights, only twice was the ball in the PV half, at the start of a PV attack......it must have been bad as there's normally one noteworthy hoof over the goal line or weak header or kick included to show some semblance of non-bias
  2. I think we heard you the first time It's also worth noting that every club listed (bar Luton 300 less, but all seated and not reliant on terraces) has a significantly bigger ground as well as better team than them
  3. 300 Loyal and True made the trip, according to Radio Bristol - lots skiing, so can’t make it!
  4. 82 persons 984 hand digits, 160 teeth, 41 banjos and a 3 legged dog
  5. Get rid and replace with who? this season’s gone…get 9 points, line up a replacement, sack, appoint, put Tinnion back in his box, lock lid, buy, sell and start again…….but that won’t happen….however, Oxford followed the same pattern and took off next season, only to be scuppered when we took him….. John Lansdown knows best, a successful man with proven skill at building a business from nothing..or not - as the case may be
  6. Even better Man in the Basement (Disney +) (The actual title) the story of a young manager held captive by two eastern gents near the foot of a ladder- as the series season goes on the young manager experiences many disappointments….
  7. Jonny Ray is an experienced live presenter and voice over artist description of his voice: British, Authoritative, Rich, Warm, Friendly, Conversational, Additional skills: Experienced professional radio broadcaster at local, regional and national level. Presentation experience includes live and pre-recorded programmes, live general election coverage, news, current affairs, entertainment, sport, religion & faith. Can record VOs at home or on location. i note from his CV that sport does feature , but what sport!—- he’s got a managing media MSC from Stirling University!!!!! I Suspect he has shockingly poorly paid and inexperienced research assistant/social media reader feeding him the lines…..he sounded horribly unconvincing for an experienced presenter and voice over artist - unless he specialises in amateur and hyper register ham DJ characterisation……
  8. Dog sh*t performance today, lacked pace, accuracy, effort and thought…believed the hype/tired/a collective bad day? Who knows! The Quirky Park Wranglers could not believe their luck, got their tails up and went for it, by far the best team in the second half….all I’d say is how sh*te are they only to score one…but fair play they put in the effort and ran the game. personally I don’t think we’ve gone backwards, just a very bad day at the office for all - except Max next game will give a better indication
  9. What cock thought it would be a good idea to close off a lane of Coronation Rd to allow Disney to film, when you’ve got 20,000 leaving the ground….unbelievable thoughtlessness by the Council….
  10. Why is there a hospital DJ doing a sports programme? Had to turn it off, his lack of local/any knowledge and, at best, patronising manner made me very angry…what a ****, but not as big a tw** than the moron who gave him the job!
  11. They are trying very hard to reduce the percentage of home fans travelling to 10%….However, it would appear that only 0.5 to 0.1 of their “potential support” travel away
  12. I just cannot believe anyone would post such lies in a public forum…. I suspect conspiracy on a huge scale
  13. Fair play to him, suggesting the team was not where certain persons claimed it was….basically….play offs, you’re having a laugh
  14. New Minimal Patch East Stand Roof support design will unify with state of the art South Stand design and be continued to create 16,000 all seated bowl - Owner claims a multiple pillars of wisdom approach will lead to the promised land within several years.
  15. Oh dear, how can such a massive club not plan to build a stadium that houses at least 25% of their "potential support"....he had better put his tin hemet on I sense the thousands locked out every game will not be pleased
  16. Should have been Gary Stanley and his lovely hair cut but has to be: You’re gonna get your ****in’ heads kicked in heard it first in the late 60’s and it always tingled the spine….wrong I know…and glad it’s never heard anymore
  17. Like the Daily Mail and local library it’s a refuge for the aged population..I look upon them as a non tax draining public service for a dwindling minority. At some point a Middle Eastern conglomerate will redevelop the Mem into a North Bristol protected housing complex for those professional persons currently occupying houses in Redland. An excellent long term investment strategy - They could build the new stands with a simple Highbury style conversion end game in mind.
  18. TBH he’s probably right, 15,000 and a Mem revamp is all they need. This will allow for adequate segregation, the odd big cup draw, relegation deciders and non-football events. It will also allow the club further opportunity to miss deadlines, fail to apply for planning permissions, ignore building regs, not consult and cross swords with the Greens…. Demonstrating the club’s world class abilities in these areas.
  19. Build it and they will cum Build it and they won’t come
  20. Driving home from work I caught 2 mins of having a gas….listeners poll “best lone player ever”- someone at Radio Bristol is a City fan
  21. Their "build and they will come" theory of supporter attendance growth is wholly based on the concept of potential support. Of course, this is not baseless. Highly skilled gas data analysts have made complex calculations against verified sources including: IKEA nee Eastville attendance data from the 1950s (closest comparable stadium and demographic); 40,000, no 50,000 or could it have been 60,000 at Wembley; 8,000 at Blackpool; 20,000 locked out at Maidstone/Maidenhead etc.; and the reoccurring problem of the many 1000's locked out of the memorial stadium on a weekly basis. Findings are clear, the Mem should have an all seated and covered capacity of between 18 and 96,000, once in place crowds will flock, the team will perform and Rovers will realise their potential support. Simples!
  22. They also seem to forget it's been 48 years since they last managed an average attendance over 10k and only gained a season highest attendance of over 10k 20 times during that period.....so their "potential support" theory seems to have little substance either!
  23. Hope: we keep on hoping expect: very little hope: we do not become a premiershit franchise style product… expect: not to see hundreds of coaches from distant cities spewing out city shirted followers with fake accents shouting “cheers drive” hope: I can still afford my season ticket expect: grey with rare dazzling sunshine
  24. Rovers vs Fleetwood 06-02-2024 is a bigger crowd than city have ever had at home vs Fleetwood on 06-02-2024 by over 7,500 spectators…fact
