  1. If I remember rightly we should have had about 3 Pens, all for fouls against Flint! two were outrageous !
  2. The more influence Pearson has had, the worse we have become...I’ll leave it there
  3. I should think they are freezing prices for ST holders at least, if not reduce them...Most of us donated a sum of money last season(getting “free streaming” and a thank you in return) This season we have provided free money, which might have been used to pay bills or invested to make money.... But we loaned it to them, Some acknowledgement might have been nice!
  4. Let’s see who he buys in the summer...this is not his team, his best season here was with a team mainly built by someone else! Even by 17/18. By his sacking date he had left us with what we have now, give or take a couple of players and Dean, a man lovingly crafted in his own image but in a bigger box!....
  5. Obviously they have remodelled since LJ arrived, they did not want this to happen
  6. What’s a spectrum? The high point in technology when I were a lad was an electric calculator, which I had to borrow from my dad, too expensive for me to have my own. Was released for special occasions, like my Physics O level exam
  7. I am happy to credit LJ for a great deal of where we are now...his coach, many of his players and crap tactics...just the sort of BS legacy his old man left too -hot air and wordy bollocks inc!
  8. Me too, been through far worse, mid-table div 2(in old money), renewed mine whilst in 3,4 and 1....always the same old moans and concerns, different faces. But, it’s City, you know it’s going to be years walking through treacle interspersed by a couple walking on tarmac. The hook is the hope that one day you might be walking on air, rather than airwear!
  9. Oxford never arrived in the London Rd much before 2.45, they'd come in from the two entrances at the back and pincer the away fans behind the goal. Most of them used to work at the Morris works in Cowley, knock off at 12.30 and wander up to Headington via the pubs. They really gave it to Villa in the early 70's and could hold their own with most, back in the day. People forget that up to the mid 80's most of Oxford was blue collar, a very industrial city indeed. Not now though, £600,000 for a house off the Cowley rd, outrageous!!!!
  10. Poor chap, on first reading I thought he might have had a life threatening splinter in the arse, but on realising he was on the pitch I wondered with it being a place he was not familiar with whether he lost his way and bumped into something!
  11. Unbelievable, Everton get all the spawn vs Liverpool....nice to see that for a change!
  12. Yes - Maximum Gap !(until next season)
  13. Division one is upside down..... As they sing round the old Camp ground
  14. Or Duck Tape, when you can't even stick a bit of cardboard to a barrier successfully....Poor performance from the apprentice office person right up to the owner...endemic incompetance
  15. It would appear even one of the cardboard cut out “Pirate’s Parrots“ has given up and left it’s perch!
  16. Which will make them bivouacs (little tents)
  17. GT is a rare thing, an intelligent pro footballer. He’s respected across all fan bases and treats all the same, regardless of his past allegiances. Given the team he played for in the era he played it’s no mean feat and demonstrates an emotional intelligence rarely displayed. he’s far to good for Radio Bristol and we are lucky to have him thanks GT - Top Man....unlike that responsibility shirking slime ball you interviewed tonight !
  18. Remind me, why did they sack Johnson? what’s going to be different?
  19. been away without internet........ oh dear, oh dear, oh dear...Sack the organ grinder and appoint his monkey! That will work......Let's hope it's a wind up
  20. Yes, and on the flip side - those CEOs who don't piss about with shortlists and endless interviews tend to spend pretty high on severence payments, compromise agreements, constructive dismissal cases and other legal wrangling!
