  1. He really is the business isn't he. Seamless transition, making it look easy.
  2. For those of us not on twitter, can anyone please post links to player commentary and reaction
  3. Scrolling Facebook when I saw the news just now, my heart sank
  4. If I'm not mistaken, the nominal board currently consists of Mark whateverhisnameis the COO, Gavin Marshall, and JL. I wonder if it's coincidental that Nige mentions he's had conversations with the first two since his recent comments, but not the latter.
  5. If we still had Andy Rolls, this would be a genuine concern.
  6. Probably repeating myself, but oh the memories of Simmons Park, the taste of Thunderbird, squidgy black in the "bus" shelters, snogging girls, happy happy days
  7. They may have been ambitious targets but they were perfectly realistic for the right money, as evidenced by the facts that one or two of Gayle and Gray (terrible memory, others will know) had agreed to join us until the club tried to renegotiate the terms behind Cotts' back.
  8. That thought may occur to him, but quick as a flash he'll remember his bank balance and be perfectly content with his decision after all thank you very much.
  9. Pretty sure it was Nice Brest, guess you don't have social media
  10. Familiarise yourself with the Bristol Rovers dustbin thread. It's (/they're) comedy gold, and you'll soon be onboard with the piss taking of our squalid, repugnant, uncouth and incompetent small-time local "rivals".
  11. Just seen the news. Exciting if it happens. Long way to go between now and then though, can't help feeling they'll find a way to let us all down yet again.
  12. Agree with your reasoning. Historical honours were often gained so far back in time that the teams concerned hadn't even established their place in what would develop into a pecking order over the subsequent decades. Fanbase has to be the most logical definition, and by that measure, it's us, hands down.
  13. Class interviews from both of them. Has there been a time in recent history when so much of the fanbase has been so firmly behind the manager? We f*cking love this man and the job he's pulled off working miracles with his hands tied behind his back instilling everything we've been trying but failing to do since O'Driscoll and the 5 pillars days. No one begrudges him getting visibly emotional about the return to Leicester. And as for childhood Bristol City fan and inspiration and mentor to the academy kids Andy King, doesn't he speak from the NP rule book, let's hope that we end up as a successful period in his managerial career too. Surprisingly powerful stuff.
  14. SL and JL are staunch Nige-istas. The splat robin was Nige's innovation. When PA pushed out his own away kit design not featuring Nige's splat robin, there were fisticuffs between PA and Nige in which Nige sustained a twisted ankle. SL and JL, who had been looking for any excuse to get rid of PA as he seemed halfway competent, acted immediately. How's that?
  15. Come on now, they would if the choice was City or Rovers ?
  16. Beat me to it ? Tinnion speaks well here. He really has done a superb job in this role. A credit to the club.
  17. We are the boys in Rot and Weiss
  18. There's a so-called spiritual guru called Ram Dass Apparently it's NOT OK to think it through, When you're a spiritual guru
  19. I've solved the mystery whilst listening to the Stone Roses classic "I wanna be a door". Change my mind.
