  1. Seems to be endemic on this thread Do you understand the question?
  2. The Vikings went north to Holland?! What does "petite/tall" mean exactly? My brain hurts
  3. That's up there in the top 10 most nonsensical things I've ever read. I have no idea what you are trying to say here.
  4. Absolutely no idea Phil, although you are quite correct. Seen on Facebook recently: "If the Last Supper had been in Portugal"
  5. I'm surprised no one has mentioned David Seal
  6. Which in turn is due to the failure of the War on Drugs and the policies of criminalisation. For how it should be done, see, well, Portugal!
  7. Don't know about that Phil, I've never heard that. Bacalhau, salted cod, is a well known and very traditional dish here and can be had battered, but would more likely be served with boiled potatoes rather than chips, which are a more recent addition to the cuisine (although commonly served with meat). On the other hand, Catherine of Bragança, wife of Charles II, was responsible for introducing tea to the British isles.
  8. This one's alright though, surely...?
  9. Amusingly, some of the worst flights of fancy written on this forum about him, occur on this thread, after this post...!
  10. He may have meant that, but it's patently not what he said; and now that it's been pointed out he is responding in typically idiotic troll-style by attempting to cast the blame on the lack of understanding of others instead of admitting his error. All that's missing is the ****ing sunglasses emoji...
  11. Wasting your time James. But don't worry, every single person reading this is laughing with you and at RR
  12. A random thought from today: the current state of the (non-) rivalry between the two clubs is neatly encapsulated in the fact that they lose their tiny minds over the Snake's move to City, whereas we are mostly indifferent, to even wishing him well, about Mark Little going the other way.
  13. I don't even like vodka (traumatised) but that might succeed in making Natch fit for human consumption
  14. You mean Web dini, of course. Edit: fantastic, nice one ( @phantom was that you?!)
  15. Eh? Who?! Please tell me some mod has applied a forum fix...!
  16. Actually it was a "peddle", if you've been following this thread. From the now obsolete "peddler", a "hawker" or pikey clothes peg/lucky heather vendor. Appropriately.
  17. I dug out 8 Legged Groove Machine this week for the first time in years, great album
  18. You may be a gashead (and as such, unlikely to ever make that friend, entailing as it would actually finding another gashead) but this forum would be less enjoyable without you; and there aren't so many posters you can say that about.
  19. Sorry to pick you up on this, but it's one of my pet hate Americanisms, and makes about as little sense as "I could care less"; and I was surprised that you got it right the first time but then changed it for the worse. Quite why I consistently imagine that a football forum is an appropriate place for English lessons, is another issue.
