  1. Okehampton Argyle? Despite living there and going to school there I have never heard of them ? Liskeard was always a bloody odd place too, where literally everyone drank chicory coffee, no idea why but it's totally true
  2. I'm not particularly interested in it either, but there are plenty of topics that don't interest me much and this fact doesn't bother me in the slightest, I have no problem with @shahanshahan - or anyone else - posting about something he is passionate about.
  3. Bottom right/middle, standing in the row of people just underneath the red towel.
  4. Damn, only 5 years ago too. Huh. I was still the first on this forum, no one can take that away from me ?
  5. No idea and it's not really relevant, just get the impression he might be totally honest about his motivations in the company of someone similarly perspicacious ie Nige
  6. Not what I was getting at at all. I wondered if he felt that the all-star wage he can undoubtedly command wouldn't be better spent on the next big thing, sort of thing.
  7. Just listened to this. Reading between the lines, although in fact it seems pretty clear to me, Joe expressed concerns that he would be a high earner at the twilight of his career and perhaps therefore not the best value for money signing for his hometown club, and he would rather take a last payday from someone else who he didn't feel the same emotional connection to. Just me who reads it like that?
  8. My daughter, who was born in Bristol to an English father and a Portuguese mother and has grown up in Portugal since she was 6, pronounced this until very recently as "trans parent", which always raised the odd chuckle.
  9. Last couple of pages of this thread really slams it home how there is literally no other professional football club remotely like these inbred fucktards.
  10. JFC, I actually feel like poor old Stevie Neville by decrying the inane pre-decimal drivel into which this thread has descended
  11. Took me a while but I knew there was a concrete pun in there somewhere.
  12. Quite apart from the points you make, what on earth do those deluded weirdos base their undying optimism on? It really is hard to fathom.
  13. Recognised the surname of course, didn't know he has a son in the game. Will be hoping that fight happens now.
  14. Hadn't even heard of Tim before but I'll be following his career after this https://talksport.com/sport/boxing/1471578/ti-tszyu-stunning-first-round-ko-undisputed-clash/
  15. I think you mean negligent, although, possibly, both are true!
  16. I knew something wasn't making sense reading the last couple of pages until I realised that some people have confused the incident with an 80 year old man not renewing which happened now, with the old Henbury Gas story about the imaginary person who was (attacked?) at Ashton Gate and miraculously became a Rovers fan instead.
  17. My god, I initially read that as Bristol Rovers Only Fans, and now I think I'm going to have to gouge out with a rusty spoon not only my eyes but also my brain. So thanks for that.
  18. Is it just me or does the emphasis on getting in defenders early doors seem to make more sense through the lens of the club knowing that we were likely to lose both Kalas and Vyner before long?
  19. I really like this, but whether you like it or not, the quality appears a million miles away from the stuff they've done for us. Far too West Ham or Scunthorpe for me, these colours.
  20. Mate if there are any royalties you can have them all and I hope it covers the cost, I'm half an ocean away so don't have an immediate need for a season ticket shall we say
