Be interesting to see how many have renewed. I’ve not seen any announcement like they normally do celebrating X thousand sold

Wont be as many as last season as they would be banging on about it otherwise, Suspect it will be a couple of thousand down on last season.

  2. I would say a third of the seasons games will change day and ko time. This is another reason that people will be reluctant to buy season tickets as you wont be able to plan around the games so easy as most will be short notice changes. Clubs are getting a decent wedge from sky but in my view attendences will reduce across the country as people will be in two minds whether to buy them.

It will kill the live matchday experience for many.

yep, I can't understand making subs that weaken your team when you're 1 goal away from ET...

but I've just enjoyed a great game with over 50 shots... makes it all the harder watching Manning ball...

(but we won our cup final, we beat Southampton!)!

    Yes cracking game.

Liverpool will be in the dressing room wondering how on earth they lost that.

Liverpool were coasting. Klopp brought a fair few youngsters on for experienced pros and they seemed to lose their way. If i was a Liverpool fan i would be fuming with him.

I have never felt as low or, what is worse, as disinterested in what is going on. I’ve loved the fact that a local man is the owner of our football club. In 50+ years I’ve seen it all. Stood in the enclosure when Whitehead took us to the promised land, stood twenty years later when we were away at Brentford shouting that we want a change; highs and lows and many in between! Highs and lows and I’ve not even mentioned the early 80s.
However we have turned it round on many occasions and I’ve always felt we could do it again. Not now, though.
I won’t forget what  Steve and Maggie have done for our club but this has become beyond a joke. I’m not laughing and despite all the Top Six and we beat Southampton jokes, I don’t believe anyone else is laughing either. I fukking hated Tiny Pulis and sometimes found LJ’ s sh1t hard to take but fukk me, Manning is a total waste of space. He feels nothing for our club and he has no idea how to engage with the media, with us or indeed, the players.
I loved Tinman as a player but the very fact that he is where he is shows how the Lansdowns and he don’t have a clue.
There is only one way for this not to end disastrously (in League 1 and potentially beneath the Gas) is for a total total change from the top down.
    Until that happens, I’m out!

That's the post of the day..Spot on fella

My overall view in a short condensed version based upon that.

Manning is going absolutely nowhere. Club has no ambition or desire to push on. Happy to just be a part of the championship.

And thats why me and many others wont be renewing our season tickets next year. This club has no ambition.

  7. If you were sat in a changing room listening to that boring **** how would that inspire you to play for him.

Basically he can't effect the game and blames everyone but himself.

Blokes out of his depth and must be replaced as soon as. Is he really going to take this club forward.

There's only one way he's taking us. If not this season then nailed on next season.

Don’t think I’ll be renewing my ST. As OP has said, think I’ll pick and choose games next season. The football on offer is so boring, and the leadership at the club inspires nothing in the way of ambition or desire.

    Nail on head.

  9. Membership for me next year. Will pick and chose when to go. Season ticket for the last 20 years on the bounce. Just not feeling the love anymore. Until there is a change at the top nothing will change. Rinse and repeat...

  10. Seriously, the game is crying out for some creativity to unlock a stubborn team. Cant quite see why anyone with a football brain would bring on an untried 19 year old with barely any match experience and not a 5 Million pound championship winning player is beyond me. If he was not fit then he wouldn't be on the bench. Manning's decision making today shows his lack of experience in Management.

  11. Don't want to write him off as think it wasn't the time to bring him on. But from that showing he looked nowhere near championship standar. Saying that there were a few others as well today.

It wasn’t the whole open end it was  a large section in the corner that went up at an angle and like you say the whole bottom tier along the pitch that’s where I was , remember thinking how packed the terrace full of city was

Pretty sure if my memory serves me right there was a bloody great floodlight in amongst us as well.

Ill get a membership next season.

Less and less inclined to actually go into the ground matchday.

Yep exactly what i shall do. Will pick and chose when to go. I have had a season ticket for best part of the last 20 years - Only the stadium has changed in that time. The leadership of the Football club hasn't and is now starting to grind supporters down.
