PROMOTED EIGHT YEARS AGO TODAY! - Bradford City 0 CITY 6
East Yorkshire CideRed replied to Curr Avon's topic in Football Chat
After going to Preston, I was delighted this match was a much shorter distance along the M62. A new ground to tick off, a frankly incredible win, promotion, celebrations. Wanted it to go on forever! And that chap on 5 live just had me grinning from ear to ear. -
I’ve been using O’Neills kits for many years now, as my own club supply from them and I have always been happy with the quality and fit. From my keepers shirt to training gear, hoodies, etc, I can’t fault them (except for a couple of delivery delays here and there). They’ve been supplying GAA in Ireland for a long, long time, so certainly not “tinpot”. They certainly come up with some impressive designs. Badges are usually printed into the design, not embroidered or the like, but sounds like that’ll be different for us. And, no, I don’t work for them and they don’t sponsor me. ?

We’ve woken up to a fair covering of snow this morning. I’m about 80 miles east of Huddersfield mind, so I’m hoping it’s just here on the coast. -

Not a huge issue at the MKM Stadium, as Hull FC play Feb to Sep, so their pitch doesn't get as much of a pounding during the winter months, -

It’s alright. “Wessies” and folk from the East Riding don’t particularly get on. We might even get another pen! -
O'Neills supply the club I play for and I have been very happy with quality and feel of the material, as well as the designs they've created over the years. I have found them a bit hit and miss with delivery, although I'd hope it'd be different with a major football club!

Don’t want ‘em up here either! ? McCain Stadium is now a supermarket and Boothferry Park is now a housing estate.

Poor game management. Bad header back to O’Leary meant he ended up gifting them possession. -

Just got home. Bloody brilliant today. Safe travels to all, especially the lads down in the bottom left corner. They were having a whale of a time! -

Oooo. Thought we were gonna see Massengo score then. -
Can’t make it today, but went several seasons back (James’s last game in goal). Some of our friends are Burnley season ticket holders and we had a great time, post match, in the supporters club across the road. May have been mentioned already but Burnley have a fan called Dave Burnley, who changed his name by deed poll back in the 70s. He named his daughter Clarette Ann Blue.

Did the Camp Nou stadium tour a couple of weeks ago and bumped into some fellow City fans from Clevedon (hello! If you’re on the forum). FCB certainly know how to bleed you of money! All the way round there were plenty of extra ways to part with your Euros.
