  1. Newsflash!!!!! The six Premier League clubs have dropped out of the ESL. Meanwhile in the EFL, in solidarity, Bristol Rovers have dropped out of league 1 Clowns!!!!
  2. We could say that about most people who’ve been in similar roles at the club, but then what club does come out and explain exactly how it functions. I’m not down with all the MA bashing myself. Was he any good at his job. I don’t know and I would guess most here don’t know either because they don’t know him and don’t know exactly what he did and didn’t do. All I can say is that regardless of how good or not he was at his job we should have appointed a proper director of football to control the whole coaching and scouting aspects at the club. That for me was his biggest failure
  3. To be fair to Ashton he didn’t pick all the players we signed and all that we sold.
  4. If the team is in a positive frame of mind then players like Palmer are great. When the team isn’t and struggling to put 2 passes together then it’s pointless him playing. Not necessarily his fault. Need more players like Massengo and Nagy on in times like these
  5. Ha! Wasn’t actually meant as a dig at our management. Forest hadn’t exactly been pulling up trees since CH arrived there but they have been in better form of late and so playing with more confidence and purpose. And for all NP having a good record at this level so does CH
  6. Not quite sure what some folks were expecting here. We’ve been terrible at home pretty much all season. Players devoid of confidence but working hard to try and stay in the game versus a Forest side who are in a lot better form playing with more confidence and also having a decent manager.
  7. To be fair to Lampard he did kind of have to do that at Chelsea when he joined and they had a transfer embargo. He brought through a few of there existing young players into the first team and players like Mason Mount
  8. Lacking a bit of height in the middle of the park and the team in general. Do Rotherham like the aerial stuff? Set pieces against us could be a worry. Might be another reason Fam is in
  9. To be fair to DH and even LJ before him we got a lot of those performances of shit first half, lot better second half
  10. Agreed, surely you’d think once safety is guaranteed that planning for next season would commence
  11. Reminds me of when I used play for my local amateur team. Mid week training session and the manager trying to do some routine he’d picked up from doing some FA course and all anyone wanted to do was just have a game for the hour. How I miss playing now
  12. So are we going to have a whip round and buy SL a box of Cadbury’s Roses? Seems the least we can do
