Can’t make up my mind on Grealish. Has undoubted qualities but I can’t help feeling the game slows when he’s on the ball. Always wants to take 3 or 4 touches before doing anything desisive.

Always remember when he took his position in goal. Taking a few strides along the goal line and jumping to touch the crossbar. He wasn’t the biggest! But agree our best.

Frustrated with what I read re Lansdown. Like most/all I know nothing about the inner workings of the club and like most I would love to know more! However given what I do know and what I see elsewhere I am convinced we are better with than without. Do we really want someone who sees us a a ‘project’? There are many clubs who welcome owners buying them and then fans in short order realising they are worse off. Devil you know….

Comment on Pasoti made me laugh. They compared last night and the 2 sides to the Indiana Jones bit where the guy stands in front of him wielding a sword and doing all sorts with it. Indiana stands there looking bored then gets out his gun and shoots him.

Excellent listen and thanks for posting. It sort explains why I have found myself (finally) warming to the guy. Yes I see him as old school but what this points out is that does not necessarily mean a bad thing. He clearly has brought stability and a focus and as others have said has utilised the hand dealt him through our excellent Academy. I’m not getting carried away and like most still see us as a mid table outfit but if there is movement I would expect it to be upwards rather than down.
