Quite a few renewed Thursday, Friday and the last couple of days so I would guess around 10K'ish then...................

Personally.....I am waiting to see what happens in the transfer market before i decide?   I might well be spending a percentage of my income, after they show me what percentage of their budget   they are  intending to invest in next season's squad?  I want to see some ambition and positive steps before i throw my money in the pot?

First out the door; rat face Fernandes, ideally. To a non U.K. team, as well.

That is so,  my perception of Fernandes...........he is a good footballer,   but everytime i see him, I am reminded of a puppet called Roland Rat, he looks like he should be in an alleyway chowing down on some cheese?  Ha!!      Sorry Fernandes, I know it is  wrong, and I am sure your Mother loves you, but you have the face of a Rattus Norvegicus? 🐭

I’ve got no love for Man City, but after seeing that today, I hope they totally humiliate United in the final.

Absolutely gutted for Coventry.  They can hold their heads high, but to go out like that is so cruel and another example of technology killing the spirit of football.

100% agree...........Coventry were denied a superb victory by a toenail.  The offside law was never meant to rely upon such miniscule margins, there is no advantage for the forward being a toe in front of the perceived line of defence?.  VAR is ruining football, and I just wish someone would have the good grace to scrap it.   It is NOT the job of the Video Refs in their bunker to constantly interfere in the ongoing game?  It is their job to see,  and intervene when major errors occur that are clearly wrong and have been missed by the referee in charge.  If VAR is to remain, which i DO not want, but if it does..............it needs a massive overhaul, and consultation with ex players and officials, to point out the inconsistencies and contradictions which are slowly strangling our once great game.  In a nutshell.....I phecking hate VAR, and Everything about it.   PS . Man U's Anthony was IMO an embarrassing clown

After not having attended a game since Swansea for my own sanity, performances and results have picked up. Some on here and social media believing Manning is in fact the second coming. So against my best judgement, I decided to have another look myself.

Wow, that was dire! It confirmed everything we already knew. This new and improved Manningball was a flash in the pan. That my friends is the football you have to look forward to next season, which will come as no surprise to many.

Good luck all for next season. I shall look forward to a return to the gate in a year or two.

Farewell........"Ivan the Terrible".....and thanks for all the  Fish

I’m not sure I understand the question.  Sorry.

In summary (at simplistic level) for FFP we report our profit & loss to the EFL and are allowed to deduct a few costs, e.g. Depreciation costs, Women's costs, Academy costs.  The resultant figure is our EFL P&S (FFP) “loss” (could be a profit).  Add the 3 years together and hopefully it’s less than £39m.

    image.thumb.png.63c3effe0e62d38772e3e65116a807e9.png

Top 3 items likely to go down.  4th item gonna go up by £2-£2.5m.

There will be no allowances for lost broadcasting or gate / matchday or any other revenue losses.  The EFL (member clubs) have agreed that the extra revenue each club receives will more than offset other lost revenue.

Apologies for being thick..................May i please ask what the Football League pool and Solidarity paymen's   are exactly?

Equally it’s not a criticism of Nige either, and as we’ve already established our defensive record was better under NP than it is under LM what was the point of the change?

I get we are where we are,  but as of yet LM hasn’t demonstrated he’s the man to take us forward, not to me at least.

To be fair...........NP and LM's defensive records are very similar.......it is just scoring goals that is the ongoing problem?

We didn't have any problems defensively. He's had 6 months to sort out our goal scoring issues and has failed to do so.

We had scored i believe 14 goals in 14 games prior to Manning's appointment, so it     was an on going issue before he   arrived?  It will not be resolved until the summer, when we can hopefully recruit a  goalscorer or two.  Manning cannot conjure up a decent striker out of thin air.....it is unrealistic, and just a illogical   criticism?

It's the total lack of attacking intent and quality on show. Are you enjoying this football under Manning? It's turgid.

Manning has done a good job at the back, we have the 4th best "goals conceded" in the League, he now needs the summer to sort out our attacking intent?   If he fails to address that massive issue, then i will be first in line to criticise him, but he inherited a weak forward line, and until the coming close season, he has had NO opportunity to resolve it?   At least give him the chance to recruit, before hanging him out to dry?   For me.........it is all about this Summer's buying and selling....,,,,,,,before he can be truly judged?

  9. Massive high fives to our brilliant U18's, who despite injury issues stood toe to toe with multi millionaires Man C. and produced a great performance.  Well done to all who played, supported and coached in our outstanding young team..........."THEY'LL BE BACK" 😃

I haven’t jumped on any bandwagon, quite comfy making my own opinions thank you very much.  Not being swept along at all.

Perhaps you might find it worthwhile reading why I reached the conclusion I have.

I suspect many on here think I’m wrong.

But do you know what?  It ain’t nothing to do with being right or wrong, it is about expressing an opinion / judgement based on my own methods and reasons.

Good for you in your view.  Do you notice that I didn’t resort to belittling your opinion.

    🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

If you think i am belittling you.........then your skin is a lot thinner than i have given you credit for?    I am of the opinion that LM will turn out to be an excellent manager in the long term,  I do not subscribe to short - termism and knee jerk reactions that seem to be the Norm.   I believe in giving time and patience to someone who in my opinion has not yet had sufficient time and opportunity to make his mark.  I have not posted for sometime on the forum, as i am sick to death of the constant negativity and criticism of the club and management.  I am a supporter of Bristol City FC, and i WILL criticise when appropriate, but the constant ongoing demeaning of LM is pointless, as he will be sticking around for quite some time yet.  I am not completely oblivious to his faults and mistakes, but I sincerely believe that given time and opportunity he will prove to be a success.   Only time will tell if i am right....or  a misguided fool.    You are welcome to put your money down on the outcome?

I think he is.  Why is it a cop-out?

the view is based on analysis.  Had he got his teams to play with this sort of endeavour and intent most weeks I wouldn’t have a problem.  He hasn’t though has he?

Good for you to feel the way you do.  Why have a pop at me for my view, it’s hardly just a 6 word cliche without any rationale.

    What a strange post.

What is strange about it?   I am astounded that you have jumped on the "Manning out" bandwagon....considering he has had one transfer window?  I have always respected your opinion, but on this occasion i cannot help but feel you are way off target.  It is not a 'Pop" but merely an observation, that in my opinion , instead of using logic and commonsense, you  are being swept along by the negativity that prevails on this forum.   I am confident that next season we will be in the top 6 under LM.  He is NOT going anywhere, so we better get used to it?

Manning is the problem too.  He’s out of his depth.

He is now using press conferences to try to show he’s working hard with all this stuff about the hours prepping for games.  It isn’t working.  Work smarter, not harder.  He should replace Krause as the coach-analyst, that’s where his passion is.

He is not a football manager regardless of his job title.  Not at this level.  He’s been found out.

OH!  For Godsake!, I never thought i would hear someone who i have respected for a considerable time, come up with the ultimate cop-out   of  "He is out of his depth"?  Really Davefevs, you are now resorting to cliche's?  My opinion of you has now plummeted to a level that i never thought possible?  Whatever happened to the cool logical analyst, who's opinion I valued?   Manning, just like Semenyo will come good, given time.....and I truly believe that.

I was one of the biggest voices in wanting and agreeing that NP should of gone but i have stopped trying to justify my opinion in any posts in the last month or so and have decided to not mention him as it causes too much division, might be wise for others to do the same and just get behind the new manager and leave out the snidey comments  ?

Some people just don't get it?     As I couldn't be MORE behind the new Manager    .....and my comment was far from snidey IMO.      You must surely be aware of the constant criticism   LM has received by a number of posters since he was appointed, forever stating that we are no better off than before NP was dismissed?   I have always taken the stance that comparing his achievements over a period since November   (21 games yesterday)    with NP's two and a half years was misleading and unfair, and that patience and tolerance were needed to allow LM to introduce and adopt a new playing style.  I stated on numerous occasions, that given time, I  felt that LM  would be prove to be a success  and in the long term would prove to be a  major step forward.  But NO, I was told by other posters that we are NO better off, and why was NP dismissed, as we should have stuck with him, and are in the same place as we were under NP anyway?   My remark was aimed at those posters who constantly referred to the "Nothing has Changed"       syndrome, and was meant as a humourous reference to their lack of patience with the new manager.....who has, as i have predicted  on numerous instances started to turn things around.         I  note that i have received around 20 replies to my innocuous aside, I cannot be bothered to read any , other than yours, as i imagine they are of the same kneejerk quality, and completely miss my point?    To finish, if you can be bothered to read......I was a big fan of NP, and felt he was poorly treated by management, but just like you,  I more than adequately have got behind the new manager, and have defended his approach and tactics on this forum many times to his detractor's             I despair sometimes at the over reactions on this site by certain posters, some people need to get a sense of humour, and get off their high horse?   In My Considered Opinion, of course?

I think we might need to be careful with statements like the above.  Nigel spent plenty of time on the training pitches, just that a lot of it was observational, just like Dave Rennie did too.  What Nigel did was let his assistant manager (Fleming) and his coach (Euell) run the sessions themselves.  Nige was a prowler on the perimeter.  He wasn’t there all the time, admittedly.  He liked the players to hear different voices, so that on the occasions where he did speak it meant something.  He said he didn’t want to be in their ears every session.

Blimey......I am not gonna post for a while..........I am fed up with   ongoing pedants analysing every iota, and picking over each semantic meaning.........I think i will stick to reading all of the balanced and constantly logical posts that appear on here on a daily basis?  Ha!   😍
