Two things spring to mind, blimey that was a quick investigation and also a shame it went public as his name is now tarnished

TAKEN FROM: Christian Horner allegations: Red Bull team principal cleared of inappropriate behaviour - BBC Sport

Red Bull's team principal Christian Horner has been cleared following an internal investigation into his behaviour towards a female colleague.

Allegations of inappropriate and controlling behaviour had been made against the 50-year-old.

"Red Bull is confident that the investigation has been fair, rigorous and impartial," a spokesperson for the company said.

Horner, who has led Red Bull since 2005, denied the allegations.

The statement, which was issued by Red Bull's head office in Austria, added: "The complainant has a right of appeal."

Red Bull provided no details of the allegations or the investigation.

The statement said: "The investigation report is confidential and contains the private information of the parties and third parties who assisted in the investigation, and therefore we will not be commenting further out of respect for all concerned.

"Red Bull will continue striving to meet the highest workplace standards."

Red Bull started an investigation after details of the allegations emerged on 5 February.

The decision by Red Bull, which follows a meeting of the company's board of directors, comes after an eight-week investigation which became public early this month.

Earlier on Wednesday, at the season-opening Bahrain Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton said the investigation was a "really important moment to make sure we stand true to our values".

The seven-time world champion added: "We always have to do more to try to make the sport and the environment people work in feel safe and inclusive, and any allegations have to be taken very seriously.

"It will be really interesting to see how it is dealt with and the effect it may well have on the sport."

If it was a one off accusation (one incident) then why would it take long to investigate?

How incredibly shocking that he has been cleared by an internal investigation and no details will be released. Wish I had  few of those brown envelopes lying around. Do I have to add allegedly?

As we don’t know any details, why is it shocking, independent barrister led this, maybe there was no case to answer?

Not every accusation made is genuine or valid, if it were why have any sort of legal system at all.

You’re not suggesting we could like, you know……

No, far from it, I am the most pessimistic person you could ever meet, but it would be good to have games that even if we lose, there are comments praising the performance of the team and manager, rather than bemoaning the performance ( and that’s not critical of some of the bemoaning, as after some games it’s been deserved).

They know the difference in meaning, they just can't spell.

In my experience, the most common misspelling - other than there/their/they're - is loose instead of lose.

I’m not so sure, there does seem to be plenty of illiteracy in this country, quite comical sometimes when you see some SM posts moaning about foreigners and the person posting cannot communicate correctly in their own language.

Contestants on quiz shows who say they don’t know an answer because ‘they weren’t even born then’.

    I could go on…

People who don't know the difference between accepted and excepted.

People who don't know the difference between lone and loan - I was reading a SM post last week that made no sense until I realised, they had the wrong loan in there....

Too busy looking at their phones from what I've seen before

Another annoyance of mine at lights (this happens every sodding day by where the Happy Landings pub used to be, behind a car in right hand lane and then when the lights change they suddenly decide to indicate right and everyone behind is stuck, so inconsiderate)

Along with the bellends that can't read or tell the time and drive like the bus lanes on the A37 in Knowle (both directions) are 24 hours - should have their licences taken away.....🤬

I used to wake up in different flat in Hartcliffe every Thursday morning 😬

One Thursday morning, I woke up in a strange bed (as you say, not unusual after a TT night) feeling a bit rough from the previous evenings soirée at the Towns Talk, the young lady in the bed next to me was awake and then a small child came into the room and asked “Is that my next Daddy”.

I’ve never got dressed and exited a house so fast, had no idea where I was and after a couple of minutes walking I realised I was in deepest Withywood and faced the morning trudge home to Southville without even a coffee to aid my way.

Indian Cottage in Stockwood easily the best Indian Takeaway in South Bristol imho.

Black Pepper is pretty good as well.

If it’s the same guy running Indian Cottage as the last time I was there, he used to work in Blue Ginger (Gilda) when the brothers who own Golden Moments in Saltford owned it and Blue Ginger was very good then, so he learnt a lot from them.

I like F1 but prefer it years ago when it was raw ….its all a bit sanitised now and has become rather boring at times .

With the advent of Formula E and with F1 looking to synthetic fuels, I'd like to see a return to proper engines (big V's) and get rid of batteries and KERS.

With an increasing number of premier league clubs recording significant losses, and some of them mind boggling, is anyone else wondering whether the premier league is really the promised land and paved with gold?

I know a few of us have been saying it for what seems like ages and it's yet to happen, but surely there must come some sort of implosion or huge reset in football, how can it possibly carry on like this?  I thought the justification for fantasy wages for players was that having them in the team would increase revenue and increase success (again revenue), but given the number of clubs at all levels reporting losses, this doesn't stack up to me.
