Absolutely. Putting all the Manning debate aside surely we can all agree James is just outstanding and key to our midfield. He was superb again today. I’d be really disappointed to see him move on in the summer.

Credit where it’s due, a much improved performance overall, but Leicester and in particular Vardy threw that away. One thing is for sure, he’s definitely going nowhere now!

Exactly. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s been told this; or something along the lines of “we believe in you” and that he’s got all summer and next season. Whether they can stick to this if we keep losing is another matter though.

I thought that too hearing him talk about his career, his time with us was the peak. As good as he could be I thought he came across as pretty unprofessional.

I thought that too. He was honest to a point and referenced some examples; although in some of those he sounded a bit unprofessional, something Trundle recognises with hindsight. Despite a clear fallout with GJ he did recognise he was successful.

I’ve thought this as well, that if Manning went they would appoint Bell.

Leicester will be desperate to get back on form and ensure they seal their promotion over the next few games. If we play like we have been and Leicester do tap into that previous form it could be an awful score line. Whilst that may be almost be expected, it’s hard to see anything other than a reaction from the fans given the last few months. It would be somewhat ironic if it’s Nige’s old club (and perhaps his attendance on Sky) that seals Manning’s fate.

Awful isn’t it? Apart from being management cringe it’s also said with no credibility, experience or authenticity. Just awful.
