  1. Interesting. They are intensively working on a front three partnership here. Kasey very much as an offensive provider/forward.
  2. This team is seriously low on confidence, so we won't be able to compete with improving sides below us, going past us, should this turn into a relegation fight. Four more wins as a minimum can't arrive sooner, to avoid this scenario. We create nothing as an attacking team going forward.
  3. Can I ask ... why are people hanging the success of this season on the return of Walsh & Williams to the squad? We presently have major deficiencies in several positions, but do well with seasoned players to cover them. We are not seriously challenging the top 6 this season. Sorry?
  4. Please prove me wrong but everything that Henri Lanbury is & was ... has happened in the past. We are just getting a surplus of over-bloat in a midfield that we didn't ask for now. Nagy, Bakinson, Vyner & Massengo could keep this wage hogger out of the team anyway.
  5. No way. I'm only interested in the real matchday experience. Not quiet, clappy, segregated cattle stalls of a few people. I won't mention the poor quality of football, shoveled up at the moment and cold, sh t weather .. oh. oops
  6. Yep. Good. Given the sub-par, detritus served up in the last few televised matches, i'm glad our games aren't for public viewing. But then there's tomorrow's horror show on Sky to get through. If we make a push for the play offs in the last third of the season, when 10+ injured players get back to availablilty, let's do it more discretely please. Creep up the table and pinch a playoff place. Takes the pressure off a bit and we might surprise a few. Unfortunately, at the moment, we lack many first choice team members with gile & craft in the top third, solidity at the back, c
  7. I'm playing this damned game wrong aren't i? 0/1
  8. I do have the option to purchase the £10 video pass again. WTF?
  9. Stream is down again. About four times previously & now gone completely
  10. I've always been caught between either underwhelmed or dissapointed with his performances for City. Posh love him though, so good luck Sam. It just wasn't meant to be.
  11. I know we all want Morrell & Walsh to run our midfield as a pair for the forseeable future, but they have none to little experience in the Championship (yet). They will in time, but to start with, it's this (for me, anyway)... Bentley Kalas-Moore-Baker Hunt - Nagy - Morrell - Dasilva Paterson Fam (or a quality replacement) - Wells ... with Walsh or Palmer available to sub on as a replacement for Paterson or more attacking midfield formation. Massengo, back-up for Nagy or Morrell. Wiemann availa
  12. As a chief exec, would you want anyone earning more than you in a 'lower role' like head coach or manager, that you couldn't be a baring influence on? That would be Chris Hughton. He has his own mind and methods. There is too much power up high, in executive positions with no real football experience. As i've said before. We are ran more like an events organiser and recuitments agency now, but that is where the expertise of our CEO and his staff is. Our old club is very, very dead.
  13. Wow! This is some personality burning of CH going on here! So, was it the Lansdowns or Ashton at the final interviews, who are releasing this information now, that MA felt that 'it isn't fair to talk about' when asked on Monday?
  14. Someone should definately annoy Simpson with this 'You scored a hatrick and still lost against us' fact at the next interview. Who's feeling brave?
  15. We've got fresh eyes coming in with Downing and Simpson. Any concern that these two won't be deemed 'ready enough' for the forthcoming campaign Fevs? Holden hasn't had much chance to even see them play in a first team, barring early cup matches etc in previous seasons?
  16. I know it didn't go to plan for him at Cheltenham on trial, but that isn't necessary down to ability of course. He might be wanting a higher wage than they were prepared to offer.
  17. Hope not! I've ordered flags (non-fundable)
  18. Definately deserves a trial. No risk there. Agreed. And he will rip it up in some lower divs, as long as there are hard working and experienced midfielders to make up for his slack. I've no doubt about that either. But ... at present we have a light-weight/inexperienced midfield that can't carry potentially explosive show-ponies. That would be my worry.
  19. Hmmm. Some of us looking at this through beer-tinted, nostalgic goggles, i fear. I would love to have him back at his weaving, step-over, bursting, subliminal prime, but even then, it was like playing with 10 and a half players, due to his inability to get back and contribute to defensive duties. Let the hope die ... sorry but it's a painful, no from me
  20. Betting companies must have a majority on first team shirt sponsorship across the EPL & EFL. Don't be surprised if we just get yet another one!
  21. Wouldn't be surprised if MA has just boarded to leave for a month's holiday to Dubai, so he'll be unavailable to answer some difficult questions for a while ...
  22. Dark clouds gathering over Ashton Gate ... rain on the way and perhaps lightning during the pitchside interviews?
  23. If Gregor has been duped into showing up for press conf, then so has the BBC as well
