I trained a bloke recently that has worked alongside Gary Owers. Told me he is the most boring man you could work with. Now I like him as a concommentator and talks a good game but maybe we may have a similar issue.
I've read people's comments on Manning not being inspiring and for all his knowledge an idea's, maybe its not coming across?

Why is there no chants of;
Brian Tinnion get out of our club or We want Manning out.
It needs to be as hostile as possible in the 2nd half, screw getting behind the team, the fans there have to make it abundantly clear.
Everyone should have go to the concourse and refused to come back in to the ground until about the 50th minute. A completely empty stadium would send a massive message out!!!
A few boos does nothing, the fans have to go for the Jugular and make it 100% toxic. Those behind the dugouts should be chanting solid for 45 minutes, we want Manning out!!!
They have to go, enough is enough.
We don't do things like that anymore.
Have you not noticed how bad the atmosphere is? Nowadays, Bristol City are followed by supporters not fans. Big difference.
When was the last time you heard the ref get dogs abuse? People go to be entertained. The best you'll get are boo's

Fair play, can't fault that, either team could've won that. Seeing where we currently are, .can't grumble.
On to the next one.
Sorry fella but its that very attitude as to why this is City is absolutely backward when it comes to success. Size of the bloody place yet we have this apathetic mindset of it will do.

A few years ago, I was told by a former player, Tinnion was/is known for back stabbing. Allegedly the reason why Wilson was sacked.

That person has served their punishment. Named and shamed.
I'd bet my house, they have learnt a lesson.
Leave it at that.

Been saying for ages that we need a proper anthem that can be played and then faded out as the players kick off.
No I meant a song from the crowd. Not bloody music!!

We need something anthemic, if that's a word. A tune that is instantly recognisable and classic.
I was watching the Rangers v Aberdeen game tonight. The song they were singing I didn't recognise but itsnow stuck in my head.
If we never make it to the Premier League, I honestly wouldn't care that much. All i want is decent football, some wins and a bloody loud atmosphere -
Blokes a Legend. Don't care what some pillocks think on here

I've an idea.
Get Crayon Boy to have a meeting with the squad. Convince them they are a top 6 side.
I'm sure he'd give it a go because the Pr*t is determined to convince the supporters.

We're doomed.
Lets face it. Our owner has buggered us right up.

Naismith is full of detail in his analysis.
Would not surprise me if he went into Management at a young age

Right. To answer some of your replies. The ones that stayed on topic, I have every right to grumble about this switched date.
It's easy to be selfish. thats natural.
But when you've a Son who knows he has to play, but knows some won't turn up, with a Manager who is a "Liverpool" fan and couldn't give a shit if City are playing.
Now add my lad to all the other kids that play u-13 to u16s on a Sunday afternoon and their parents that go along
I'd bet my house the majority are Season ticket holders. We've paid for that game and will miss it, because of the usual lack of thought to the fan..I mean Customer.
Those idiots down at Bristol effing Sport know the amateur set up around Bristol. Its one of the biggest outside London.!!

You miserable person. The sharing of OUR STADIUM means that we benefit from costs that are shared with the Bears can reduce the losses we make and help to keep us out of trouble with FFP.
The Bears rarely ask us to change match day. This one is for a televised local derby with Gloucester and with the fan numbers coming from just up the road will add some more to Bears and City income.
I'll be there for both games and hope to see two wins for Bristol.
It's nothing to do with being miserable.
I stated my reason earlier...along with hundreds of other kids and fathers

I am sure that you actually realise they are not squatters and like us both share Ashton Gate
I do. However in my eyes they are squatters
If it was on Sky I'm guessing you would have still missed it as you would be at your sons football match?
If it was on SKY I'd be irritated but we've no choice. You take the money..
I stand to be corrected but isn't this the first time we have actually moved a game for the rugby?
I'm intrigued why you detest us sharing AG8
walking into the ground to be met by Rugby paraphernalia. Going into your teams ground is part of the experience. When I first saw all the rugby stuff when it opened my heart sank. It was no longer Bristol City's ground.
Foreign markings on the pitch. It no longer looks like a football pitch.
If we wanted a stand named after a player or former Manager, we couldn't
Now add the fixture swapping
You are not far wrong in what you say, but was in July Bristol Bears in talks with Welsh Rugby Union to host Gloucester clash at the Principality Stadium (dailymail.co.uk)
The game against Gloucester was originally planned to be played at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, but after discussions got moved back to AG8
The idea was not to clash with our game to enable as many to attend the game in Cardiff
Discussed already in detail here
June/July? Christ. It's the closed season. I'm not going to notice that and even if I did my stance would be the same.
-
I assumed it was on SKY but no. We're playing on Sunday because of the Squatter Egg chasers.
And because my Son plays on a Sunday, we will miss the match.
And some wonder why I detest sharing the use of the stadium with that lot?
Cough back to the Memorial ffs

Since the new ground. People rather watch in the concourse with a pint
Section 82. Empty seats in the majority 10 mins before halftime.
Thats supposed to be our atmosphere makers

No anti Lansdown chants as far as I know. Fans are so placid nowadays
I'm at the game. Nothing chanted whatsoever. In fact the past 30 minutes, its like a morgue.
But then are you really surprised? When was the last time you heard the ref get real dogs abuse?
I'm afraid most go to games to be entertained. That's it

Cracking atmosphere. You're all missing it

Perhaps Johnson should’ve done that more, we usually came back after international breaks playing abysmally. I think @Olé once wrote a thread on it.
Like Fleming said, I don’t believe many of the injuries occurred out of games did they?
Anyone know if they played the interview in full or did they play clips throughout the show?
In one of Nigel Pearson's interviews, he clearly said all the injuries were match related bar one.
