  1. And 11 months in football is a long time I admit I was one who wanted change but since the Semenyo sale and then Scott with hardly any money given for transfers on top of wage cutting I changed my mind. This season I could see what Pearson was working with. I wanted him to stay. With a bit of cash, I firmly believe we'd have been challenging
  2. In an ideal world, we'd have had an interview Yorkshire TV style. Clough v Revie In our case Pearson v Lansdown
  3. Would rather have someone similar to the down to earth working class Bristolian who Radio Bristol use on their traffic updates on Saturdays? Talk about embarrassing
  4. I dont care who they get in. I want them out. Years ago I shouted down this Bristol Sport thing, the dilution of the Football Club and a rebuilt stadium that is no longer a football ground for Bristol City FC. And now add the ridiculous sacking of a Manager, who we all started to understand how and what he could work with. It's all been a Lansdown Legacy and I have nothing to be grateful for. His debt, his stadium and I don't get to watch my team for free. Get them OUT!!
  5. Tony is often at Ashton Gate watching a match. He sits in the block where former players sit.
  6. Nor mine. Even if the new Bloke is a success, I'd still have a bitter taste in my mouth, the way the Lansdowns have treated Pearson.
  7. Having a listen now. So an opportunity for the Lansdown's to go on the show and explain their reasons, and they decline. No doubt they've got wind of the fans reaction so it's either a) they are gutless or b) couldn't give a flying fk about the Supporters. I'll put my money on the latter and if there wasn't reasons for wanting the owner to sell up before there certainly is now.
  8. Said the very thing years ago. On the whole, got lambasted for it. It's not a "told you so", just a nice to see people are getting wise to the fact.
  9. Think I know who you are talking about. If it is, he allegedly was the reason why Danny Wilson left.
  10. Is he serious? Lack of money. Huge list of injuries and the Prat mentions promotion.
  11. Think it's probably obvious what he means.
  12. Yeah but steady on. I just remembered we've got a new stadium...sorry share...sorry use.
  13. Well think of it this way. A lot of the debt was mismanagement ie Ashton. As for investment. Are you talking about the stadium we get to use? The investment is for himself. As far as im concerned the whole Bristol Sport nonsense has hurt us. Apart from the debts he paid off at the beginning of his ownership, I've nothing to thank him for.
  14. I'm half expecting Lee Johnson to walk back into the club. If that happens I'm done.
  15. Unbelievable. The sooner Lansdown and his Son go, the better
  16. Mine went one better. My uncle glued it to a board. In use onto the table and when not in use, lent against my bedroom wall. One bonus, holes for the goal nets to remain firm
  17. Already did. You are telling someone to stump up the money or shut up. Refusing an opinion because of their inability to buy the club. Therefore in future you should shut up when you have nothing to back up your opinion.
  18. The majority of that 99.9% won't ask someone to prove their worth of football knowledge .
  19. It's not cringey whatsoever. Only way to get noticed. What do you expect? Request of an appointment with our glorious owner? Unfortunately with us it would never work because our fan base has a fair number of apathetic people who are just happy enough to sit back and not give a toss
  20. In that case you should never make any comment on the football. Show us your various coaching badges. Until then....
  21. Care to highlight the best of times? 2015 wasn't it?
  22. Wherever he's been since he's left he has struggled. Boro onto Cardiff onto Stoke and on the bench at Wednesday
  23. Bit too much chat on the 2008 play offs if you ask me. Especially the mugshot of Windass
