  1. I think it was one of Ashtons buys. Probably saw the potential to develop and sell on for a profit...hopefully a bit more game time this year and he’ll start to improve his all round game.
  2. The imbalance of our midfield is huge, way too many players fighting for the same position. I would imagine some will move on, as to who I’m glad I’m not Holden
  3. Can’t read the article but from the tittle surely a promising sign?
  4. Out of nowhere. Great signing by the club, hopefully a Korey 2.0, and one that remains fit! Mark Ashton says our first signing of the summer, hopefully this means we ain’t finished yet.
  5. I got about a minute into this video and couldn’t listen anymore. Now this could be that I’m looking for any reason to not get on board with this embarrassment or it could be that he is just, that boring.
  6. Terminated by mutual consent is the usual wording tho
  7. It’s well documented that premier league football is our ambition and play offs was a must this season. Out of interest, does that go out of the window if they promote Holden to head coach, or do they expect him to deliver top 6 football next season, in his first senior role in management!?
  8. We’re all Fulham then ain’t we
  9. So are you suggesting that we could have to wait and see what plays out with Fulham before we get our man?
  10. I really don’t think that means anything, the fact so many media sources have called this wrong at every stage just goes to show that you can’t judge anything by the odds. If 10 people put a tenner on hughton he would become favourite again.
  11. For me - Hughton is the man that we will announce. Breaking it down, Neil and Cook both come with compensation clauses, and both will expect a relatively high salaries alongside it, Neil an experienced manager in the championship with promotions on his CV from the division, and Cook is in demand so is in a great position to negotiate. Holden although thought highly of by some of the board, will be a risk that the club can not afford to make in this current time.
  12. Maybe we working on a deal that makes Hughton the manager and Cook as his assistant hence the hold up
  13. No they want me to pay a fee the robbing bar stewards. But my guess would be around funding and wages, Corona would of hit us hard so I’m guessing there isn’t going to be much of a war chest that comes with the job, and the fact cook is interested and already proved he can work within a small budget - the club probably didn’t feel the need to break the bank for hughton.
  14. Still sticking with the fact that KITR source was Lee Johnson
  15. It would appear that KITRs source was infact LJ. Hasn’t had any information right since his departure...
  16. If you throw enough manure at the wall, some will eventually stick...
  17. Could well be back tracking to save being the leak!? Straws, clutching? Maybe but I don’t think someone whose played with him gets done by a fake tweet like that.
  18. Over the last few seasons - we’ve attracted some bigger names to the club that previously would of turned us down, some of this down to the infrastructure and some of this down to the reputation Lee had built. IF the club decide to go for an up and coming manager from the lower leagues - all the pulling power has been lost. Now is not the time for a calculated risk on potential. Bringing in a Hughton/Jokanovic/Gerrard type character backs up the noise from the club that they’re serious about pushing for promotion and players will want to be a part of that vision. If we had one of the above in
  19. Why does that refer to JD ?
  20. Is there anything with the latest tweet, I can’t find a logical explanation for them to tweet...we know a spot, other than implying we’re about to make an announcement. Manager photos have always been taken in the stands, and can’t fathom the club dragging a 61 year old up on to the roof!? Or am I clutching at straws...
  21. Whether you liked a club or not, if you sign a 3 year deal with a club fighting for promotion, you’ll want to play, and you’ll want to win.
  22. Ash Williams played both his previous clubs in two games
  23. Johnson probably said: My jobs on the line and that ***** doing rainbow flicks like it’s a ******* party. Cheers kids crying. To which he responded with. O grow up you little dwarf... and the rest is history.
  24. He also thinks there were positives to take from yesterday, take from that what you will.
