  1. Feel for you and Nige, ludicrous decision.
  2. Our order of dislike is Forest -> Derby -> Coventry Coventry alternate between us and Brum depending on who you ask Forest/Derby obviously have a stronger rivalry than we do with either but we generally hate them more than Cov.
  3. If you don't renew his contract though we'll loathe you almost as much as you will ?
  4. You spent the entire build up to him taking the penalty singing about his wife being a grass, what did you expect? ? Unlucky today. Was never going to be easy for us, never comfortable playing against a Nigel Pearson side after he's cleared out the dross/players who don't give a shit. Obviously we've got an obscene advantage over the rest of the league so you probably can't read too much into today, but I think you guys will be in and around the play-offs. You've got the best manager in the division. Hope it's a Premier League fixture next season ?
  5. Aside from the tribute to Vichai (which obviously wasn't the right time) this is the first time Nigel's been back here since he left, we never got to give him a send off. Same with King and James really. For me at least this has probably been the easiest game to get up for since the Roma ECL semi-final. We currently share the record for the most second tier titles with Man City so that's an obvious hope for this season. We've gotten to a European Semi-Final, our rivals have won the European Cup twice so obviously there's some long term aspiration there. It's probably Jamie Vardy's last season so we've got to make the most of him while we've got him. And we can pretty much tour all the sides we used to struggle with trying to get out of the second tier and gloat about having 'completed football' ? It's not as hard to motivate yourself as you'd think.
  6. It’s exactly what he did here and you all saw the result. I firmly believe that put him in any era that gives managers longer and puts less emphasis on media perception, and his name would fit naturally in the list of managers you mentioned to more than just us. Delighted that he’s found a club that’s giving him the opportunity to do it again.
