  1. I have seen that slowed down clip, however I was looking for the full speed clip you mentioned earlier as this is what was shown on the EFL highlights show on Quest that prompted me to post the thread. Like I said, seems strange there’s no mention of it by sky, and also my initial thoughts were unsure if it was deliberate but watching the slow mo, it does look more deliberate and worthy of a ban.
  2. Tried to look for the incident on the sky highlights however it’s not on there, also there seems to be no mention of it in the sky sports report either. Seems quite strange considering the potential outcome of the incident for both players involved. I imagine things will unfortunately be much worse for Oliveira in the coming days once the swelling properly comes out
  3. Believe there was no booking, which would mean, hopefully, the FA looking into it and handing out whatever ban they see fit. Considering it’s not the first offence of this nature by Mings I’d imagine it’ll be 6 games minimum. Considering they banned Fam for 6 games on the say so of 2 opposition players this should be at least a the same length ban
  4. Said exactly the same listening to the game on the way home.
  5. Horrendous injury for Oliviera on his debut for Reading today, stood on (accidentally???) by Mings on his debut for Aston Villa. Now usually this kind of thing could be disregarded as an accident, however Mings has previous, banned for 5 games for stamping on Zlatan. Have watched the slow mo (always looks worse) but looks like he was looking down when he made contact. Won’t post the injuries on here but a simple google will show the damage done. Deliberate or not? As I said would normally say not, however I’m not overly convinced Mings is innocent here.
  6. Also shots/shots on target are not a good stat for working out chances created. For example there were at least 3 times on Saturday where the ball was put across the Bolton 6 yard box and we came within inches of scoring
  7. Personally think it works better better as Andi Weimann He plays in red and white He scores for the city and he’s ******* dynamite
  8. They will win on penalties, its just what they do. I haven't seen a side get so much luck over the last 2 seasons
  9. Fair play, like i said before they have now reached their promised land, feel sorry for those left in league 1 that have to welcome that lot next season
  10. Would that be the Accrington Stanley that has been in the football league for 10 years now? And would that be the 'proper team' recently promoted from the part time league? Just checking. It has also just dawned on me that their situation with league position is similar to ours when we got promoted to the championship under GJ. Challenging for back to back promotions, only difference is that their promised land is league 1... Mind the gap!
  11. Got to love the quote from Mr Piggs! "I agree with..." Sounds familiar
