  1. Honestly think it's a good thing hopefully soon we will be seeing the end of some very average players earnings silly money in the championship,
  2. I am not sure it's worth that much, I stayed in the pride park travel lodge twice over the summer and a lot of the restaurant and pubs in the area had closed down, plus there is a lot of empty sites for sale around it plus it was a long walk into town, would surly be cheeper to buy and build on one of these
  3. I would definitely like to see him given a run of games to see how he does in the league, thought that was a fairly ok game today from him, he gave us something different,
  4. To be fair a lot of people thought he could do a job for us of the bench when he signed giving a young side some much needed experience, Sadly what we didn't know was his legs where totally gone, this is a good move for the club hopefully spend his wages wisely
  5. It's a worry that city haven't learned now to keep the players in a covid safe environment after the last time this happened, On a plus as long as no one ends up in hospital or with long covid like that couple of Newcastle played two weeks break from league football is a good thing for us, I guess if the tests come back positive the the fa game will be off as well,
  6. Totally get where you are coming from, I am not as far away as you being west Somerset but it's still a long day when we play poorly and lose, I am very sure there are a lot of other city fans thinking the same as you as would say at least half the people who watch city regular come form outside of Bristol,
  7. I think it's a good point made on the radio, I do think a lot of people have got out of the habit of going to football, I don't think it's just with the current rules that hopefully will be all gone next season, I really do believe people will go less often, mist people live away from the ground , for me going to the gate means leaving home at 1030 in the morning and not getting home till 1930 at night for a 1500 Saturday game, I am sure some with journey like that will think can't be bothered for some matches and will just watch on line, Also for many people it's the social elemen
  8. For me 4-5-1 today , they are a lot better than us , we need them to not over run our midfield, try to contain them as if we give them space they will pass us to death, would be very happy if we could get a draw today and hopefully have a few shots, worry they will smash us,
  9. Sounds like I got lucky as it worked well for me, logged on about 0950, when it opened at 10 got position 659 in queue had to wait 20mins then it let me buy a ticket easy , I am only a few seats away from where I would normally be in s82 Looking forward to this, I have to be in the ground by 1345 which will be a bit strange,
  10. Surprised to see so many don't want to go, I can't wait to get back and will deffenalty try for a ticket on boxing Day, Been watching Bridgwater town in the western league to get my live football fix, so know it's safe to watch football and would think that the gate would be even safer with more space and proper stewards, Only poor point is if I was lucky enough to get a ticket there are no trains running boxing Day do have to drive been years since I last did that but it will not put me off going ,
  11. I guess the club could send out an email to all season ticket holders asking if they are interested in going and then do a ballot on all who say yes, dose look like a fair few are not interested in going , plus the level 3 people who can't go maybe a lot less than 12k in it,
  12. I would guess they would, feel sure the club will not sell to anyone who lives in tire 3
  13. Surly the club is not going to just do that , they have had months to work out a fair system, 12k all logging on at 10am is surly going to crash the system,
  14. Forgot about that, looks a silly idea now, I really hope they don't try to charge full price as that's no way to treat us fans after such a long break from the Gate,
  15. That doesn't sound right why would we have to by tickets, surly they should just be places allocated to season ticket holders, what are the club up to,
