  1. I seen the goal now, it was really well taken he clearly looks to have an eye for goal, I see in this thread his position play was poor in the under 23 side so he didn't make the first team but with finishing like that maybe an argument for just telling him to say in the box and shoot at goal when ever he can, I sometimes think Lee wants his strikers to do to much see them all over the place more like midfielders and not in the box where we need them,
  2. Just the sort of creative player who can unlock a game with a moment of magic we need now, He was great for us, one of the few players I have ever seen who I wanted the ball to go to so could see what would happen, he was genuinely exciting to watch which is what football is all about I think
  3. Needs to go out on loan to a lower level where he can work on his positional play, at the moment he often finds him self in the wrong place so the game just passes him by, we shouldn't give up on him but he is not a championship level player yet,
  4. In my time watching ,Best for me Cotts he got a connection between the fans and team like I have never known we where all one in the special double winning season, will never forget that, Garry Johnson a close 2nd, that first season in the championship where we almost went up was amazing just ashame it fell apart afterwards, Worst has to be Pulis the worst football I have ever seen, followed by Millan so far out of his depth,
  5. Thanks for that had a lot of fun filling it in, would love to see the faces of those reading them
  6. That's disappointing to here as smell my fingers was sung twice on new year day game , East end boys deffenalty sung at least once in December, amazed u didn't here them surly the sound doesn't travel so bad in the corner that is s26 is singing s25 don't here it proper, One thing I have noticed is different parts of the unreserved tend to join in with different songs maybe try a different area of the unreserved and see if more people around you who sing the songs you like, I am usually right in the middle near the drum and it's good there the guys to the left of me usual sing the newer songs the guys to the right usual some of the older songs so get singing all game ,
  7. It gets sung most games by us, yesterday was one of the few games it's not been sung this season, It's a bit worrying that no one seams able to hear it can only think the corner holds the sound in where as the back of the south stand pushed the sound out into the ground, if it's true it's a bit rubbish and dose explain why other bits of the ground don't join in when we sing songs that everyone knows,
  8. I am in the unreserved section and find some of what put in here amazing all I can think is people can't hear us singing, we sing red army and on the head every game, and do be do has been sung lots of times this season, all the classes get sung, I am really happy others are singing I did hear them a few times and joined in, no one around me was throughing there toys out and not joining it , I didn't hear that many songs to join in with though, I can only think the the sound don't move around the ground very well which is why people think we are not singing some songs, I really hope the new singers are there every week can only make the atmosphere better, but what I don't want to happen is what happened in the east end after it reopened with two groups back then it was those by the netting and those by the steps one lot singing really fast and one lot singing really slow both trying to mess each other songs up, That can't happen this time , ever join in with what's being sung or wait for it to die down then start your song that goes for both sections, to day we where singing city classic drink up the cider and half way through the new section started a different song doing stuff like that just upset people and dose no one any good, why not wait a minute for the song to finish then start the one you want to, Also don't see the problem with new songs JD song is fun easy for everyone to join in and gets a good party atmosphere going lots having fun bouncing around , which sends a positive atmosphere onto the pitch which can only be of help to the players, just imagine all the south stand dancing around singing it would be brilliant,
  9. Disappointing midfield, no reward for those who have played OK in there last couple of games,
  10. But when he dose that cross could win is the game, and its that extra option that's always going to see him first choice, I agree when he plays like today he's really bad but still want him in the team for those moments of magic,
  11. On his day though Hunt far more likely to put a cross into the box that could lead to a goal
  12. The op is a hard man to.please , I guess rating down a bit based on the poor first half, For me I would have given differently Fam 9 motm Bentley 7, return to forum good command of his box Andy and Massengo both got to be a 6 for the huge amount of work they did today there running let others play, Hunt surly a 5 he was poor but didn't hide and kept trying to do something to help , loved his passion as he celebrated in front of us at the end,
  13. Was there today my thoughts on the game, a poor first half that Wigan had the better of but there lack of a quility striker cost them, the changes Lee mage worked well today, Pato coming on and changing to a 3 up front made a real difference, suddenly Fam was unplayable he was bossing the defence and Pato and Nic where making great use of the space, took our goals well against a good keeper and it turned into an easy win with us seeing things out well in the end,
  14. He was excellent today he linked the play well was always an outlet, and the way he linked up with Fam was great suddenly he had someone to feed him those killer balls, just what we been missing happy Derby gave him back
  15. Currently in Southport enjoying lunch in spoons before getting the train down to Wigan, it's dry at the moment but very windy , not going be a easy day to play football, would take a 1-1 but hopefully if will click can do better
