  1. We played ok with out looking like we were ever going to create anything same as today, only difference was we took our chance when a bit of luck came along, we have not played very well in any match yet, the lack of creation is a worry
  2. Not seen a city them that bad in a long time, we had no ideas, it truly was men against boys, we lost the midfield battle almost from the first whistle forcing us to play down the wings the whole match when attacking just as Birmingham wanted us to, It's the lack of having any idea how to do anything different I found most disappointing there was no plan B, the subs didn't make much sense to me, A poor day all around
  3. Think this will be a tricky game today Birmingham are a well drilled side , we are going to have to be more creative than against Preston, I would be happy to take a point from today,
  4. I hope it works but based on previous with things as simple of a surfer flag things could go wrong , this has the Extra jepody of some will not want to do it as don't know what it's about plus those who will think it funny to not hold a card up and leave a gap, fair play to the s82 lads for making the effort and I hope it comes off for them
  5. Some Bristol city interest from Bridgwater
  6. Cross Country will be running on that day between Bristol temple meads and Taunton but the trains are running via Westbury so it will take an hour and a quarter thought not the normal 30 minutes, 1553 from Taunton direct to Bristol arr 1712 Bigger problem is only bus after the match , 2235 bus from parson st arrives weston 2345 connecting train at 2355 will get u back to Taunton for 0024
  7. Both strikes are RMT not ASLEF so should be some trains running both days until around 1900
  8. I believe clubs are allowed to show there own game live inside the stadium if you ever go in a corporate it's live on the TV in there, as others have said just not allowed to show things that could upset the crowd, it's something I am pretty sure I have seen done at other grounds when I have been away, Last year we showed things like attempts at goal almost live not sure this is that different
  9. Thank you for the info, it dose explain some of the issues you have had with getting more current content, My comment any pictures was not about the number it was more size quality, I was hoping that maybe the center 4-8 pages would have pictures on, two good pictures a page, a bit like in a bit like in when Saturday comes were they do a whole match day experience in pictures, this could be great for away games , just a thought, If you could get the content up to more of a 50/50 split old and new I would definitely be interested in buying regular, I like the idea rased above about more stats always a good way to look back at a game just gone and into one coming up, Finally good luck with this I will buy it again in a few issues time to see how it's progressed,
  10. One of the things that surprised me most about yesterday was how much fitter Preston looked, some of our players looked out on there feet by 80 minutes, was not expecting that after seeing many reports on the club site about how fit everyone was and what a good preseason they all had,
  11. I really agree with all that, I want it to be a success but can't see people paying £4 every match for it in its current format, if they could get some advertising in and drop the price to £2 it's got more of a chance, It really did feel like a non league level program and that's the price they should be going for, I think people would be happy with less pages in it if that reduced the cost as long as all the content was about the match it's been printed for, I also brought OTIB yesterday that was only £2 and full of stuff about what's happening with the club now with the team and some good peace's about what happened over the summer, for me I found that for more interesting read, Fingers crossed it's a work in progress and ciderds can be adapted to make it more of a match day program, I feel a bit bad about being negitive about it as clearly some people have put a lot of work into it,
  12. Just finished watching the highlight show and thought it was a big improvement, it reminded me of the old Championship show itv did on a Sunday morning , exact same format pic one game for extended highlights and extra contact and goals from the other games, I thought it good to give a non sky game the extended highlights also enjoyed the interviews with players and management actually learned a bit about the Plymouth side, Didn't mind not having a so called expect look at a few of the goals they didn't do it properly on the previous version of the show so not a big loss, goals and a little action from all the other games worked well, Time it didn't drag like last year's show that I often used to find myself fast forward to the city game, Be interesting to see if they are at the gate any time soon to give us the full match day experience
  13. I brought a program and was a bit disappointed as there was so little contact about today's match and the current team, I am really not interested in what the club was done many years ago which made up a big percentage of it, I didn't think it was worth £4 it had the look of a Weston league program would have liked to have seen more pictures, I probably wouldn't buy it again in its current format, if they reduced all the history content down to one 2 page article a issue and had the rest of it about what's going on now and much more content on the match it's being sold at I would buy it,
  14. It's always stopped at 45 for the last few seasons, The club clearly didn't get the note from the FA telling all clubs to keep the clocks going to show the actual time in the match
  15. Happy the point in the end as Preston were far the better side in the second half, they had the creation and pace in midfield we were lacking today,
  16. Just changing trains at temple meads quite a few in red and white really feels like the season has started now, even got proper football weather, really looking forward to this, got a feeling we are starting with a W
  17. Sat on temple meads at the moment a little light drizzle and some breeze hardly the Armageddon the BBC was putting on its news this morning
  18. No one should have to spend £100 on a new phone just so they can get into the ground, The club should have told people to check if there phone had NFC before downloading the digital ticket
  19. From what I was told the ticket only in your Google wallet, there is no barcode to show that can be scanned, the phone needs NFC that lets the phone talk to the ticket gate and let you in, seams this is the only way the ticket works, I got lucky as when I put the Google wallet on my phone it told me my phone didn't have NFC so I was able to just get the real ticket card and not be stuck with a digital ticket I couldn't use,
  20. My season card arrived in the post today, bring on the new season
  21. Be happy if the super computer is correct, I seam to remember last year it got a far few places correct
  22. Thanks for posting the info, were I live we only get post a couple of times a week, so looks like I will not be getting the card before the season starts, will get on the phone to the club tomorrow, would love there to be a season were there was not some issue with tickets,
  23. Thank you for confirming have requested a physical card , For reference I have a 3 year old android phone, it's a Tesco one so I guess must be basic
  24. I put the Google wallet on my phone but I get this message saying my phone don't do tap dose this mean I can't have s digital ticket
