No, can’t work out what it is…it’s all over the place
Same actually. Well as long as the players know!

I disagree it’s a back 4 @Davefevs but all about opinions!

Great stuff Max.

Surprised at the selection criticism. A back 5 as it is today is the best 5 with the players available

Be surprised to see him land a Championship gig.
Why?

You said you'd take an entertaining 2-2 draw with open play goals over an ugly City win from a set piece.
Away from home entertainment is not a big consideration and in the Championship an ugly away win will always be acceptable afaic.
You seem to be speaking for everyone there!

It's not our responsibility to provide an entertaining game for opposition fans at their ground.
A solid City performance is important but I'll take an away win however we get it, as no doubt will travelling City fans.
Home games are different and with Blackburn, Huddersfield and Rotherham coming up we should be looking to win all 3, win them well, and finish the season at AG in style. My expectation as a fan is that Manning will really go for it in these 3 games with an attacking outlook, hopefully leading not only to entertaining games but plenty of City goals.
I didn’t say it was for the benefit of their home fans. I want to see us play entertaining football home and away.

Would definitely take an entertaining 2-2 with 2 good open play goals from us rather than an ugly 1-0 win with a set piece goal.

Extrapolation - now there’s a word you don’t hear everyday! I needed this yesterday in a business case I was writing and could not think of it for the life of me!
I remember my first time extrapolating. Got Woolworths to trial a line I was selling in one store. They made the mistake of telling me which store. Cue a 7 hour round trip to said store to buy all the stock and then when the sales data came through, an email to the buyer telling them if they extrapolated those sales to all Woolworths stores they’d sell 300k pieces a year so should place some bloody orders quick!

Not all fans.
Despite some recent performances, I thought Williams could go, King was patently not required, but James should be retained.
What about you, think they should all go?
Hard to say without knowing how much they are on. If either of them want to be in our top 5-6 paid players then I would move them on. And I wouldn’t give James 2 years.

If we could afford his wages I’d always have kept James, that’s nonsense.
Just showing fans have recency bias

Lots of talk about Bowen. Good player that he is, he isn't as technically gifted as Palmer or Saka.
No way will Bowen start a game at the Euros.

Massive fan of Palmer. Proper player. Would love to see him given a real chance for England. A real flair player and is arrogant.
Palmer or Saka is the option here I think.

I hope Man City win their 4th title in a row because of comments like this.
I think your second team will do it

Fans suffer from recency bias as well. There was a time recently where Williams played two good games in a row and there were numerous calls to sign him up. That was a while ago so now it’s let’s sign James. But if James had had two bad games in a row recently it would be let him go. We are all biased to recent events. Hopefully the club look at it over a longer term
@GrahamC you are confused at this but 6 weeks ago you didn’t mind who we kept out of Williams and James. Now you only want to keep Williams if we don’t keep James. Recency bias

Thats some strong language youve used there which im not sure is helpful.
Why should I as a fan of Bristol City accept that we've gone backwards because of the decisions they have made? Why should I not hold them account because my pre season expectations of improvement have not been met?
Why should I just sit in a corner and remain silent?
How are you holding them to account by posting on a forum?

There is no way that Lansdown and Tinnion gave them a brief of play offs for this season.
