  1. In a few years I can see there being a European League with the best teams being in that but also having a second string for the Premier League. Squads are so big that a second squad for Man City and the like would finish top half in the Premier League with a few more signings. Even more revenue for the big boys as well. They would have a different manager for domestic and European leagues.
  2. Kompany gone to be manager at Anderlecht
  3. I think the budget was £10m ish and not we have sold Kelly it will be £20m We can buy CB, LB, CM and ST with that and will be better
  4. I’m not completely desperate to get to the Premier League like some so am perfectly happy that we have the best team, long term plan and vision since I started supporting 30 odd years ago
  5. So your solution is to spend £30-40-50m is it? Just like Norwich did, just like Sheffield United did, just like Cardiff did. Oh hang on.... We have improved every year for five years now. Can’t you be happy at that? Look at the money Boro and Leeds have thrown at it. Villa have spent shed loads and have to try through the play offs again and needed to change their manager. Stoke’s squad is ridiculous and they finished nowhere. Be patient and for goodness sake try to enjoy it!
  6. I would say any fan wanting us to risk the clubs future just for top flight football is at best naive. At worst? I wouldn’t want to be rude...
  7. Completely disagree. He has proved to be a good signing for the fee, which was all the club was particularly bothered about. We wouldn’t spend over £1.5m on fees and wages to deflect from a bad run!!
  8. If my best mate at work left I wouldn’t leave so don’t see what the difference is with footballers.
  9. Look at his goal away to Norwich. That is what he can do. Still young so needs to do it more consistently. Imagine he will get there. A lot of City fans don’t seem to realise that young players improve. If he had longer on his contract they would.
  10. We didn’t sign Taylor in order to annoy Gas heads. We bought him as he was available at a good price.
  11. Johnson implied that COD wouldn’t play so it’s LJ word against COD. I believe LJ.
  12. We won’t get much more than £6m. He only has one year left on his contract
