  1. You forgot, to add, an unnecessary amount, of commas,.
  2. Didn't you hear? She survived the vote of confidence. Sorry to piss on your BBQ.
  3. Hold on this can't be true. Surely they can't be blaming the officials... Didn't one of them once try to claim that referees that were being fast tracked up the leagues were always given games at their 'stadium' to see how they cope with 'large crowds and a hostile atmosphere'. Clearly all the hotshot referees were busy this weekend. Or maybe he was right. Maybe they did get a referee on the up but unfortunately he crumbled under the weight of pressure offered by the massive 8k attendance. Guess that's his career over.
  4. Anyone got a good stream that isn't acestream?
  5. It happens fairly often now that clubs buy players at the value of the release clause, and was happening long before we bought MT. The release clause is confidential so long as the player wants it remain confidential. Once MT decided he was leaving the agent was free to disclose said information to any interested clubs. The fact they reported us to the FA just screams bitterness and I can never decide which is more funny between that incident and when they reported Wycombe after they were relegated out the football league. Pathetic.
  6. I know @Woodsy enjoys answering this question
  7. Ah, we just need some hashtags on the shirt, y'know like the other lot have! Classy!Joking aside, I really like the current badge and I'm always quite surprised it divides opinions so much, it gets a lot of compliments from other supporters. Read more: http://gasheads.org/thread/6354/consider-changing-club-badge#ixzz4e7Ee17DH Off they go again. It must be amazing being a Rovers fan, they seem to get complimented by other sets of fans wherever they go! Can now add 'great badge' to the list of compliments from other fans: the best away support, amazing fans, how much more likeable they are than city etc.
  8. Now a national laughing stock on BBC live text
  9. I can't help but think this hashtag they're using is a joke. Maybe it's because they've just ripped off a scene from the first episode of 'I'm Alan Partridge' (1997): Alan: I love that phrase you used, it was very clever - Revolution not evolution. Tony Hayers: No, it was the opposite: evolution not revolution. Alan: Well whatever.
  10. So what you really mean to say is - Iron Man is a secret Rovers fan?
  11. Agreed, like when the docs say "we'll only contact you if you DO have chlamydia". However in this case, where you are looking for positive news that progress is being made, no news is most definitely not good news.
  12. How on earth do they all just 'assume' their own is wealthier? I thought the EP were alone in their unique reporting methods of pure guessing, but apparently not. I like that its only been a couple of weeks and already some of their fans are embarrassed by how most of the fanbase have reacted to the news. They're even coming around to the realisation that they might not ACTUALLY be the most popular club in the whole of the UK and could even be going down the path of dislike!
  13. #BristolCity subs: O'Leary, Pearce, Wagstaff, Gladwin, Burns, Agard, Wilbraham.
  14. Subs Agard and BURNS involved in the goal, think the forum is going to break...
  15. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-34068658 Sainsbury's to raise staff pay by 4% You've got Bristol Rovers fans to thank for this, Sainsburys staff; maybe they are the family club after all?
  16. Middlesbrough are winless in three games against the Robins, losing the last two (D1). Bristol City have avoided defeat in each of their last four visits to the Riverside (W2 D2). Middlesbrough have won eight of their last nine games (including play-offs) at the Riverside (D1).
  17. Bobby reid doing well at Plymouth. Up to 6th as it stands and another two assists for him today.
  18. I wouldn't say so. Sorry to be 'that guy' but a pivotal moment by definition is generally a turning point, we were already top and winning so I bloody well hope it's not a pivotal moment to send us the other way!!
  19. Next one: name the two teams in English league football with all 5 vowels in their name
