  1. It was a moon wasn't it that they tweeted?
  2. Think he'd work with Wells nicely and would be a good addition for me.
  3. I hope we've learnt a bit as a club since we had Caulker too. I seem to recall him saying in an interview we put him up in a flat pretty much opposite a casino and left him to his own devices didn't we? While the player is ultimately responsible for his actions I'd like to think we take a greater interest in what our young players are doing outside of football since then. Anyway back to Moore, comes across brilliantly and with his attitude and affinity for the club I really hope he can kick on this season and establish himself in the starting side.
  4. Shaun Derry. Niggly little git. Probably would have been a huge fan if he played for us mind.
  5. I'd like to know how many of those from Udinese were just to Watford. Their owners own both clubs don't they? Remember Watford having loads from Udinese the seasons when they were trying to get promoted. Not sure many other Forestieri (really not sure on the spelling there) were that great.
  6. Basso Webster Carey Caulker Adomah Elliott Hartley Pato Trundle Pitman JET Mostly just to see how well Trunds, JET and Pitman close down defenders.
  7. Not read all of these so might have already been mentioned but Sproule against Leicester was absolutely class. And also his goal against Southampton purely for the laugh of seeing him run it into an empty net.
  8. Just worked it out again and it's actually less than I remembered. He's on £800k a year so just over £15k a week.
  9. Lam is on around £18k a week. Mega for rugby. Pretty cheap when compared to Bielsa on £45k a week.
  10. Sam Pearson highly rated isn't he?
  11. Having taken a bit of time to think about this I'm going to give this the benefit of the doubt until announcement. If MA/JL come forward and give an interview where they man up and admit they and the fans originally were looking for someone else outside the club to come in, but that after interviews they genuinely thought Holden was the best candidate, then fair enough I don't agree but I wasn't in the interview. Then we all know the buck stops with them and they'll have to own it if it all goes tits up. However if they come out and try and claim he was the outstanding candidate from day
  12. If you had not followed his career, after watching a 5 minute YouTube video of his highlights you'd have thought he'd be playing week in week out in the prem. Unfortunately as many have alluded to he never produced that consistently. Having said that I very much look back on his time here with rose tinted specs. If the budget is tight this year post Covid and Fammy gets sold, leaving us with Wells, Weimann and Semenyo, I'd much rather have JET as our 4th choice forward than Watkins for example. But really depends quite how badly our finances have been affected and what budget we are work
  13. There's a few of their players I would be happy to see us pick up to be honest! Whoever gets Robinson on the cheap has got themselves a great deal.
  14. As brownhill has already been mentioned I'd find to hard to argue that we would not make a significant profit on Dasilva if he were to be sold. Eliasson would be another in the same boat. Walsh likely to have increased in value a substantial amount too.
  15. I meant when he was actually playing for them mate!
  16. Bentley Pereira Kalas Baker Dasilva Smith Massengo Paterson Palmer Eliasson Wells For me wells did well at QPR up top on his own when I saw him so thought with Palmer/Pato and Eliasson behind he should get some decent service. Fully expect the team to look nothing like this though!
  17. Can't believe I'm the first to mention Jody Morris. Scandle.
  18. Steve Brooker was class for us when I was the age that I was really getting in to football. Wish he'd had better luck with injuries. For entertainment value, Trundle, Adomah and JET are definitely up there.
  19. Bentley Pereira Moore Kalas DaSilva Massengo Smith Paterson Palmer COD Rodri
  20. Utter shite website. Had tickets 3 times only for it to bring up a screen saying "It's not you it's us, something went wrong" and now it looks sold out.. great.
  21. Would be surprised. When I screwed my knee up I had to wait 48 hours for a scan on it due to the swelling. One of my mates saw him out and about on Tuesday afternoon and he was fine so seems a very fast turn around for injury/diagnosis/termination of loan to actually occur. Although I guess private healthcare may have more expensive equipment that can diagnose sooner but just doesn't seem likely to me.
  22. Does a lot for the stereotype.
  23. CM in league of Ireland or potentially trying to make it as a RB in the champ. Surely that's a no brainer. Danny rose much better full back than midfielder, Kieran Richardson likewise. I'm sure there are many others too.
