  1. Thanks, I appreciate it. We're not going until October, but that'll give me plenty of time to compile a list of questions for you
  2. Having just booked a trip to Toulouse, I wasn't expecting to visit a thread on Bristolian restaurants and find tips on where to go in Toulouse!
  3. Crikey. I'm really looking forward to the end of this season. I can't even contemplate the thought of pre-season friendlies yet
  4. You mean, aside from the big long thread discussing the decision to give the penalty?
  5. They wasted a LOT of time within injury time, so I think she'd have been well within her rights to play on to 100 minutes, to be honest.
  6. Yes, that's the one. Though, for some reason I do not remember them being quite so far apart. Certainly not the 45 minute drive that Google is suggesting! Memory is a strange thing!
  7. The only time I've ever taken a domestic flight was when our flight back from Málaga was cancelled, and the only flight available was to Glasgow. We then had to get across the city from one airport to the other (who even knew they had more than one airport ) for a flight back to Bristol. Now that was an interesting adventure.
  8. He had a good game, but he did seem to think he was a rugby referee with the amount of time he let play continue before coming back for a foul.
  9. I honestly don't think there'll be any need.
  10. I don't think I've ever been sat watching a City game, and thought to myself: "You know what would improve this experience - watching some shouty stranger on YouTube talking me through the game I'm already watching". Bizarre.
  11. Imagine meeting somebody, going back to their room and finding that...
  12. I love David Squires, but I'm not ashamed to admit that I've literally no idea what this one is about!
  13. Can you leave us four-eyed shortarses out of it please.
  14. Jesus, there's some utter dross from the so-called experts in that article. If it wasn't an offence, then every team would get one player to permanently stand in front of the opposition goalkeeper to block his view. I do have a lot of sympathy for some of the decisions that have gone against Wolves this season, but this isn't one of them, and is one of the clearest offside decisions you will ever see.
  15. Not ridiculous in the slightest. If he's blocking the keeper's view, and he's in an offside position, it's offside. Not sure how that's even debatable
  16. FFS Leeds, perfect chance to take advantage and they lose
  17. That tip on to the bar, after leaping up from the initial save was special.
  18. That is lovely. Might have to add it to my collection when I head there in the summer. Recently purchased this beauty (which wouldn't look out of place as a City away shirt):
  19. Completely disagree with this. With a few notable exceptions (Southampton, Leicester etc) I've been largely mind-numbingly bored by the vast majority of games since Manning took over. Certainly a lot more so than under previous managers.
  20. And run by the mates of the referees on the pitch, so therefore very reluctant to ever overturn anything.
  21. I was happily enjoying my bus ride in to work this morning, when I spied this out of my window. Ruined my day before it got started!
  22. It was on Sky Sports Tennis the other day.
  23. Unless we're looking at a different BBC report, I counted six separate mentions for Norris.
