  1. This is how I saw it although maybe a 7 for Benik and Kalas. Palmer definitely a 5. People have mentioned his work rate being great today, i disagree. Spent too much time drifting around aimlessly waiting for the ball to arrive at his feet.
  2. This penalty award in this game is just as painful to watch!! 94th minute and all that! https://www.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/teams/derby-county/11700899/derby-2-0-qpr
  3. It does make you wonder!!!! https://www.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/teams/derby-county/11700899/derby-2-0-qpr
  4. Absolutely! It's now a 'cup' tie in many ways so we have to go for it. Shame we don't have the momentum going into it. What we have to remember is that we have done so well to get this far.
  5. I'm so peeved. I cannot believe what I just saw. I'm sure these referees are paid to ensure the big names go through no matter!! They don't want little Bristol City and boring Middlesboro in the equation. Let's help out Frank Lampard's Derby County by GIVING them a penalty which was NO WAY a penalty. Watch the penalty now on Sky - watch it - ridiculous!! I'm sure SKY have some involvement in this. Having Frank Lampard in the play-offs will just make the play-offs much more interesting and a larger interest!! Sorry we're still in but City will need everything they've got next week if they are to overcome such generosity towards the 'big' boys with the big names!! Well done to City for getting this far!
  6. Haven't seen this mentioned. Really enjoyed the video compilation of great City moments from the last 50 years or so shown on the big screen just before the kick -off against Wolves. Wonder if it's available to download etc?
  7. Surely Comyn's own goal MUST be the fastest own goal after coming on as a sub EVER! He practically ran straight on and headed it in almost in one motion.
  8. Crazy game! Laurel and Hardy stuff! Yes Andy Comyn's (Laurel) own goal within seconds of coming on was a definite highlight. The look on his face said it all. And Steve Sutton's (Hardy) rugby tackle on Shelts! Derby did everything that could to throw the game away and did so. Lest we forget...
  9. We should watch a game sometime! East Finchley, London N2
  10. Love or hate McCoist (he calls us Manchester City once) and Green, this commentary is a joy to listen to! Sends shivers down my spine!! Best bit is from 41 minutes onwards until half-time. The combination of the clever free kick that caught out the MCFC defence, our penalty goal, and Flint's unbelievable headed clearance. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b09p7fc1#play
  11. Saw that Leeds were knock out of the FA CUP by a Bristol City player today. Last Bristol City player to score a winner against Leeds in the FA Cup.......was....???? ........Donnie Gilles... in giant killing replay of 1974. What a night that was !! Man City are on similar run so as the Sky Sports commentator said after our winning goal against Man U - "Dreams do come true!" Memories of City winning in shock results are few and far between. Please share your memories of this and other matches. Watch it AGAIN!!....you know you want to!
  12. Did Reid's goal come off Skuse on the way in?? Interesting reaction from Skuse - either raised his hand to admit fault - or was he celebrating?
  13. Yes all a mess and i feel sorry for all you guys involved. Me im away and would miss the game either way. Not sure what the reason for it being on the Saturday in the first place was but it does make me wonder if both clubs and maybe the FA have recognised that the Easter weekend has become even more massive than normal for so many teams - must be about 15-20 teams still in with a chance of relegation or promotion- and teams involved playing out of sequence with all of the rest may have a disadvantage or advantage depending on which way you look at it. Just a thought.
