I’d genuinely just be happy if we had a team who performed better than the sum of its parts. I think that’s what was starting to happen under Nige and that’s what makes it all the more annoying. For someone my age, my memory isn’t amazing. I recall him being solid, if unspectacular. But most of all I remember going to Northampton away; Coventry 5-4 Bristol City. Sorry Fonts. That’s my lasting memory.
