Lest we forget after all, in May 2019 they were under a soft embargo, but then started spending as soon as it hit June 6th/7th. See Jota. Makes me wonder- they eventually spent £100m + that summer under the PL jurisdiction! @havanatopia may also be interested/have theories.

Re Prem League, Steve Parish was on Andrew Marr this morning.  He actually talk sensibly.  He doesn’t say “we must do this”, “we can’t do that”....he just talks about there being options, some of them preferred, some not in his opinion.  Big meeting tomorrow!!!

What are your own thoughts Dave ?          Personally I think they should cancel it.

The PL are talking of needing 40,000 tests, so in theory all leagues would need 160,000 odd, anyone really think think government would get to the point of having 20,000 odd spare tests a week in 3 weeks? Very unlikely I'd guess and therefore McAnthony's suggestions for restart are hard to back.
