They're only 4 signings away from 23 new players or to put it another way, at the end of January they could have an entirely new first team squad in 7 months. Ashton won't be able to help himself in the transfer market leaving most of the current squad no idea if they're coming or going.

Yes, we want to be entertained and for 18 months (and some would argue longer) that's been in short supply, but we all know that with the current state of our squad, points are more important than tekkers. I'm holding some hope that we can strengthen the side in January as it's vital we do. Until Nige gets the side he wants we won't really see his brand of football.

Swindle have had all their Christmases come at once this season given where they were 2 weeks before the start of it.

Not sure if it was Rotherham but I remember us playing Gillingham 5 times in one season. Twice in the league, once in the FA Cup first round and twice in the Southern Area Final of the Paint Pot Cup.
